Perrie's Pov

"No, that's not Sadeem. That's Zack," Jonnie corrected.

“It’s Zen,” Zayn confirmed.

I looked over at the boy in my room and as I began to study him and all his features, I began to get a feeling inside of me. Just something about his brown eyes shining, his warm smile and the way his tattoos are inked on his skin bring butterflies to my stomach. "I know him," I replied.

Zayn had a big smile while looking over at me. That smile, I seen that smile somewhere before and that's when it clicked.

~Flashback~

"Do you ever wonder about the future?" I asked as Zayn entwined my hand with his.

"Sometimes, but I always know that you'll be in it" Zayn replied.

I smiled and looked up at him. His eyes were shining in the sunlight and he looked so perfect. This moment is one of my favorite ones. Just walking in the park with my hand in Zayn's, feeling like if this day was my last then it would be amazing just makes me smile. I'm so lucky to have Zayn; I don't understand what I did to deserve him. "I love you Zayn," I said kissing his cheek.

"I love you too, Perrie," Zayn replied with a smile as we watched the autumn leaves fall from the trees.

~End Of Flashback~

I'm completely sure that Zayn is one of the very important people in my life. Thinking back to the memory that just came to mind, I know it wasn't made up. I love him… or so I thought.

“I remember you, Zayn. I feel like I love you, but I can’t remember what that kind of love feels like."

“Perrie, pick your words wisely,” Jonnie warned, harsh-toned.

Zayn opened his mouth to say something, but Susan stampeded into the white room. The trouser-suit she wore was a darkish purple, faded white stripes vertically falling down so the jacket and trousers aligned. “Funny you should say that, Miss Edwards. This is your new ‘boyfriend’, Jacob Taylor. Since you think it’s still okay to go behind my back and be with Mr. Malik, Mr. Taylor will be making sure this doesn’t happen again.”

“No, no. Don’t do this to me. Stop it,” I demanded.

Susan sighed. “I’m sorry to say that I’m not sorry, Miss Edwards. You and Mr. Taylor will get along very well. You’re first public appearance will be going to Five Guys and then playing a round of bowling as soon as the doctor says you have recovered. Now, it’s Susan’s orders that everybody but Mr. Taylor leaves so they can ‘mingle’.”

“I’m her brother; you can’t kick me out,” Jonnie protested.

Susan snapped her fingers at him like he was a dog, and he reluctantly left. Zayn, refusing at first, left after I told him I would call him later that day. Susan exited after bringing Jacob a chair and having him sit right beside me.

So the awkward begins.
