Rachel's POV
"Ya feelin alright today, Andy?" I ask one of my patients.
"Yes, Rachel, much better! I think those pain killers are working just fine!"
"Well I still need to check your vitals, don't want you to be any sort of sick." I listen to Andy's heart and check his temperature. I check all of the monitors and write everything down on my list.
"Well, everything seems to be in order! You might just live to see 13, Andy!" I say jokingly. I walk out of the room and check my list to see who's next.
"Good evening Rachel!" I hear Peggy yell. Peggy works the check in desk.
"Evenin! Patients doing fine tonight! How's your husband?" I ask.
"Oh you know, poker with the gentlemen tonight! Do you got yourself a man yet, honey?" She inquires.
"I don't need no man in my life! I'm fine just the way I am! All a man would do is just slow me down, Peggy." I reply. She shakes her head after letting out a small laugh. I walk into my next room.
"Celia, you don't look too good." I say.
"I feel horrible, and I can't stand up by myself. I really need to use the bathroom...." She trails off.
"Well, let me help ya." I offer. I help her out of her bed and slowly walk her to the bathroom. She sits in there until she needs my help again. I walk her back to her bed and lay her down.
"Better?" I ask.
"Better." She answers. I check everything in her room as well.
"Rachel? How'd you get to be a nurse in St. Jude's?" She asks me.
"Well, honey, I had to do a lot of school. And I had to have a good memory. Maybe someday you could be a nurse too!" I proclaim. She smiles.
"I'd like that a lot." I say goodnight to her, and walk out.
I'm walking down the corridor to clock out when someone runs up to me.
"Rachel! A few of the patients claim that they smell gas!" Jared yells. My brow furrows, and I tell him what to do.
I finally get out the door of the hospital, and I'm walking to my car. Then there's an explosion. I'm lifted, and thrown ten feet from my car.
I turn around in horror to discover that the hospital is a fiery inferno. I drop to my knees and start to cry, then I see her. A girl, walking away from the rubble.
"Hey!" I yell. I run after her.
"Did you do this!?!" I scream.
She tilts her head, then she starts laughing. I can't believe what I'm hearing.
"Yes, I did. And I'm so sorry, but I can't have any witnesses." She smiles. I realize what she means and I start to run.
I feel something sharp pierce my back, then I'm down. I hear her walking towards me.
"Why?" I mumble.
"Because I'm Sob, didn't you know?" Then she kills me."Breaking news! St. Jude's children's hospital has been destroyed! At 8:20 last night, Jared Paddie says that a few patients had told him that they smelled gas! We only know of three survivors, but police are looking for more! One of the victims was Rachel Garth, who was not burned alive! She was stabbed and this reporter got a look at the body! She had the words, "Sob is the cause," carved into her body! Police say that an extreme amount of bodies have been found with these same words, and that they are looking high and low for this new serial killer! This is Jenna Park's, with Fox News!"
