This was pure heaven. Seriously, who knew splendid bliss can come from a spoonful of this strawberry kissed, creamy goodness. Frozen yogurt had never failed me. As I brought another pink portion towards my mouth of the godly substance, I couldn't hold back a moan of pleasure. My taste buds were in chaos of the overflowing flavor that triggered a content grin to spread on my face. "This is the life."
"It's frozen yogurt, Cass." Ashlyn laughed as she watched me bask in delight. Her bright blue eyes were twinkling with amusement, knowing although it was November; I was completely enjoying the cold treat. If it helps with my excuse, she just gobbled down a Blizzard from Dairy Queen a second ago.
"You have your Blizzards, I have my frozen yogurt." I told her defensively as she just chuckled at my childness, stealing a scoop of my precious delicacy. "Hey! Did you just—
"Yup, I just stole some of your frozen yogurt." She announced without a bit of regret while I glared playfully at her.
After taking another large serving of the cold luxury, I tattled to her, "Have you heard? Stacy and Zander apparently have a thing."
Since it was finally Friday, we were relaxing at the mall. We were close friends and seemed to need a lot of hanging out time since we unfortunately, didn't share a class together this semester. It was the usual shopping trip, except we decided to take a break and shower ourselves with ecstasy. We were now seated in the food court of one of Seattle's ordinary malls.
"Oh I've heard. It's weird. I mean I like them both but I don't know. It'd just be hard to picture them together but it could also be cute." she confessed as she brushed a strand of pretty blond hair out of her face, tucking it behind her ear.
I nodded, totally understanding her opinion. "They're just too different."
Ashlyn began to nod when she processed my words then rapidly brought her gaze to me in confusion. "Wait, what do you mean different?"
"Well, it's Zander and Stacy. He has a cheating record like no tomorrow and she has purity stamped on her face." I explained to Ash, causing her to snort at my strange theories. "He isn't looking for long term while she is looking for exactly that."
"That's true." Ash agreed, knowing exactly what I was talking about.
Zander and Stacy were both our friends, and we adored them both. Zander knew how to have a good time, always just going with the flow and enjoying the moment. It was great hanging out with him since we were simply just having fun. The problem with him was that drama followed him everywhere, specifically girl drama. Although he always knew how to have fun, sometimes he had too much fun. Girls flocked to him like he had free samples tattooed on him with his attractive looks and more than exceptional basketball skills. Stacy on the other hand, was the epitome of Virgin Mary. Overall, she was gorgeous with her pale skin, electrifying blue eyes, and long chestnut hair. It was like gawking at a living doll. She was fit from her commitment to dance which her life revolved around. Even with her constant busyness in her passion, she still managed to gain one of the highest grades in school. Although every guy has probably taken a liking towards her, she's never had a boyfriend. She literally had no flaw except for her confusing attitude towards Zander.
"Even if it gets anywhere, I'm sure it won't last long. No offense to both of them, though." I admitted after swallowing the last bit of the sweet goodness.
Ashlyn nodded then spoke, "If you say so, I'm sure that is what's exactly going to happen. You have this weird way of controlling all the couples."
Laughing, I smacked her arm causing her to shoot me a playful scowl. "It's not like I manipulate anyone. They just happen to end up doing what I predict."
