“Ouch!” I said as I felt sorry for the guy who was tackled roughly on the field. I swear I heard a bone snap.

“Isaac’s starting to lose control.” Allison stated worriedly.

Isaac? Didn’t Scott say something about an Isaac in the car? “Is he…. you know?” I whispered, trying not to draw attention.

She nodded. “He’s new, so he doesn’t have as much control.”

I turned to look back at the field and noticed that Scott and Isaac were having a heated argument. A referee then blew his whistle and tried to break them up. Isaac looked like he was about to throw a punch when he suddenly looked over at the stands. He looked into the crowd and his eyes suddenly changed from anger to fear. His fist quickly went back to his side and he walked back to his side of the field. I looked over to where he was looking and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary; just a crowd of people enjoying a lacrosse game. I shrugged it off and continued to watch the game.

Suddenly there was quick pressure on my bladder. Crap, I haven’t peed since I went to classes this morning. I turned quickly to Allison. “Where is there a bathroom?” I asked, in a tone of almost urgency.

She turned and pointed towards the school. “As soon as you walk in the school’s side door, it’s down the hall and to the right. I’ll go with you.” She said getting ready to stand up.

“Don’t be silly, I’ll be right back.” I said standing up.

Allison gave me an uncertain look. “I don’t think…”

“No one is going to attack me while I pee. Besides, Stiles gave me some state of the art pepper spray. If I’m not back in five minutes you can call the whole police department, okay?” I reassured.

Allison frowned and paused for a second before she finally gave a hesitated “Alright. But in and out quick. I’ll watch you to make sure you make it in safe.”

I playfully shook my head at her over cautiousness and made my way down the bleachers and towards the school. When I got to the side door I waved my arms at her playfully then entered the dark school. “You’d think they’d make this school a little brighter for the bladder challenged.” I said to myself as I made my way down the dark hallway. When I finally got to the bathroom I hurried and did my business and then washed my hands at the sink. I froze when I heard a banging coming from in the hallway. I slowly shut off the water from the sink and slowly made my way toward the restroom door. I paused at the door and listened; hearing heavy footsteps coming towards me. The footsteps got closer until they were inches away from the door. I let out a shaky breath, pulled out the pepper spray and quickly flung the door open.

As I flung the door open I startled the stranger and me and him screamed at the same time. I quickly became both angry and relieved when I saw who it was.  “STILES!!” I yelled as I clutched my chest trying to control my heart rate.

“GOD!!” He exclaimed, as he swatted his hands back and forth in fright.

“You scared the crap out of me!!!!” I scolded him. I looked at my hand that still had the pepper spray in its grasp. “And I almost blinded you!!! What are you doing in here!?”

“I saw you walk in the school and I came to make sure you were ok.” He said, trying to compose himself. “You shouldn’t be walking around alone.” He said seriously.

“I had to pee.” I stated, innocently.

Stiles sighed. “Come on, let’s get back to the game.” He draped his arm around my shoulder and let me back out to the open air.

“You know…” I started, as we continued walking. “Too bad you’re not playing. I bet you would totally kick ass.” I stated, smiling at him.

Stiles lightly blushed. “Not too sure about that, but thanks.”

We made it to the bleachers and he went to go walk back to the bench when I stopped him by grabbing his arm lightly. He turned around curiously. I quickly leaned over and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. “Thanks for making sure I was ok.” I said as I turned around and walked back to my seat.  When I turned around to continue watching the game I saw Stiles in the same spot, his face filled with confusion, happiness, and shock.

“STILINSKI. BUTT BACK ON THE BENCH!” The coach ordered as he noticed Stiles. Stiles swiftly snapped out of it and made his way back to his seat.

Before I knew it the game was over as Allison and I jumped for joy that the boys won. The teams went back to their locker rooms to change as everyone started standing up to leave. “Wasn’t that awesome!” I exclaimed as I turned to look at Lydia.

She yawned and stretched. “It was alright, I guess.”

I rolled my eyes. “You don’t get excited for much, do you?”

She turned to look at me as we all started walking down the bleachers. “No. I get excited for plenty of things, but watching a ball get passed back and forth for two hours isn’t one of them.”

“Oh please Lydia, I saw you cheer when we scored the winning goal.” Allison said, smirking at the strawberry blonde.

“For support of my fellow classmates.” Lydia explained as she started walking towards the parking lot. “I’ll see you tomorrow Allison.”

Allison turned to me and then back at the locker room anxiously. I smiled knowingly at her. “Go give him a nice big congratulatory kiss. I’ll wait here.”

“But it’s not safe.” Allison explained.

“Please! Look at all these people. I’ll be fine, quit worrying.” I smiled at her and lightly pushed her in the direction of the school.

“I’ll be right back.” She said as she quickly hurried into the school.

I chuckled at the love struck girl. I silently waited by the field for a few minutes until the wind started to pick up and a shiver violently went through my body. Great, I left my sweater in the car. I looked at the school and noticed that Scott, Stiles, and Allison haven’t come out yet. ‘It won’t hurt to run to the car for a sec.’ I thought as I made my way towards the parking lot. I flew to the car and opened the backseat and after a minute of frozen searching I finally found it. Stiles really needs to clean out his car.

I slammed his door and was suddenly grabbed by the arm and roughly turned around. The man stared at me with deep blue eyes as they filled with anger but at the same time…caring? “What the hell are you doing here?” He barked at me.

I stood there frozen with fear until I analyzed his face more. His face looks so familiar. Then I let out a quiet gasp as I remember him as the boy from my dreams. He is older now, but it is definitely him.

“Derek?”
