Chapter Eight - I Figured You Out.

---KingsLee's POV---

"You're right. you're right!" Kinsley says trying not to laugh at me as I tell her all the stupid things that could happen at school like people shoving her and she falls how is she suppose to get up and what is someone notices her bruises what is she suppose to say? What if someone accidentally hits her in the stomach or something how is she suppose to play that off? I say all of these things in a joking matter though not so serious. "I'm not going to go," She says putting her hands up in serenader. " but I still am hungry and want food." She says eyeing me. "Okay, okay." I'll make breakfast and then bring some snacks down here so you don't have to get up." I tell her making her smile. "Don't forget some water bottles." She adds quietly as I am almost out the door. "Oh, how could I forget the water?!?" I asked her in a shocked voice making her laugh and then cough as I leave her room closing the door behind me since its one of her pet peeves to leave the door open at any costs.

I go to the kitchen and then grab the things I am going to take to her room which is mostly some pop tarts and then some crackers. I grab about four water bottles and get on with making pancakes for breakfast. It is 6:45am and my school doesn't start till 8:30 am so I should have plenty of time to get over there after I am done cooking.

About 15 minutes later I am done cooking and is balancing everything in my arms taking it to my sister who is by the way sleep once again. I silently put everything on her bedside table and then put the pancakes and syrup on her bed. I lean in really close to her face. "KINSLEY WAKE UP THERES A FIRE!!!" I yell right by her face and then move away quickly as she throughs her arms in front of her to punch whoever is close for waking her. When she realizes what is going on she puts her arms down and groans. " O come on you didn't even sit up?" I asked trying not to laugh but with a huge grin on my face. " Oh shut the hell up!" She groaned and then put a pillow over her face. " Nope I made you food you better get up." I say taking the pillow from her. She tries to sit up and winces but successfully does so as she looks for the food which is next to her. She takes a bite of the pancakes and smiles up at me. "Tank ya." She says with food in her mouth making me laugh and bit and roll my eyes. " Alright well I'm going to head over early for school so I can figure out my schedule and my classes. I will be home as soon as possible. " I tell her turing to leave. " UGH I can't believe you are leaving your little sister at home. ALONE. Like you trust me THAT much." She says with a hint of sarcasm. I chuckle at the door and then look at her. " You'll be fine you got some pepper spray." I say as I leave. " AND A CELL PHONE." I hear her yell making me laugh again. " AS LONG AS YOU KEEP IT CHARGED." I yell back and immediately hear things move around as she searches for her charger. Then I hear her groan because she doesn't have a charger and more than likely has a dead phone.

When I am back in the living room I make sure everything is cleaned up and put in there places and then I head for the door putting on my padded jacket and my motorcycle keys. I grab my backpack then turn off the lights heading outside and locking the door behind me. When I get to my bike start it up and put my helmet on it revving the engine a couple times before I head out.

It was about a 10 minute bike ride, though I was going over the speed limit and dodging cars here and there, but I made it alive so whoopy-doo. (A/N: See what I did there? :D No, okay....)

I head inside leaving my helmet with my bike and then going to the front office. "Good morning ma'am, I am new. I signed up online 2 days ago and I was wondering if I could have my schedule?" I asked the older lady at the desk. " Mornin' hun. What's your name?" She asked typing things into her computer. "KingsLee Martin." I tell her. " Ah-ha found you. It will be printing over there." She points to the other side of the office where there was a printer and a paper coming out of it.
