Emma’s P.O.V.

I walked out of the gift shop and politely asked the lady behind the reception desk, where the nearest stair case was.

“I don’t know, and it’s not my job to either. Why don’t you just sit down and wait for whatever you’re here for to happen. Ok? Ok.” The lady behind the desk stated.

I felt like pointing out that made no sense at all because I obviously was trying to see someone who had obviously already been admitted and such, but I decided to not go off on her and just turned around and walked away.

I walked around until I eventually found a staircase and slowly walked up each step doubting myself a bit more each time. I mean what if he thinks I’m some weird stalker psycho chick.  Or what if he’s some weird axe murderer who with just one look decides it his next victim. What if…. After that they only got worse and crazier. One of them involved a rabid monkey attacking me, but let’s not get into THAT story. I stopped on the landing of the third floor to calm myself down. After I remembered that I have powers and that he’d probably be immobile in a hospital bed, I realized that I was over reacting. So after that little bit of inner drama I continued up the stairs.

As I reached the fifth floor I recalled the room number that I had learned earlier and started searching the halls for it. I have a horrible sense of direction so I somehow ended up on the fourth floor even though I didn’t take any stairs. But I found my way back up eventually and after twenty whole minutes of searching, I finally found his door, which happened to be right by the stairs that I originally came up.

“Really? Jeez luck is not on my side today,” I mumble before I proceed to knock on the door, just to make sure I don’t walk in on any awkward scenes.

Imagine my surprise when the guy who helped me up earlier, opened the door.

                “Hey it’s you!” I exclaimed.

The guy himself just raised one eyebrow at me. It was then that I shrunk back a little bit once I remembered that this guy was over six feet tall and built like a freakin… really big guy!!!!!!! After he continued staring at me I finally worked up the courage to say something to him.

“Um, is Jason here?” I cautiously asked.

“Yes,” he replied but didn’t move.

“Um, well can I get by possibly,” I questioned timidly.

“Depends, I’m his best friend and I’ve never seen you. So who are you?” he asked.

I quickly came up with a story that was believable but could also be proven later.

“I’m his new neighbor. The house that’s been for sale across the street forever? Well my parents bought it and I was instructed to be nice and help out are new neighbors. So I decided to buy him a gift and come visit him. See the teddy bear was what I decided on. A little girly I know, but who doesn’t love a teddy bear…..  Ha Ha Ha….” I rambled nervously, and at an extremely fast pace.

He proceeded to then stare at me with a weird look on his face before he said, “I didn’t understand a word you just said but I’m going to let you in so you shut up.”

I smiled awkwardly and edged past him and into the room, where I came face to face with a very banged up Jason.

He was lying on a hospital bed with a blue cast on his forearm and his foot was in a little sling type thing that hangs from the ceiling and was wrapped. He was covered in bruises and scrapes and even sported a black eye.  Simply put he looked horrible.

A/N:  Ok so now that we know I’m a failure as an updater and writer let’s get onto the thanks. I’d like to thank everyone who’s put this on their alert list or become a fan depending on the sight and just know that it means a lot. I will try and update but last time I said that you guys literally ended up waiting a whole entire year, so I make no promises. Um yaah that’s it. My goal is to get on a weekly updating schedule but I honestly doubt that’s going to happen. But feel free to message me to remind me to update because I do actually read them. Um that’s it. Oh and wait if someone comes across something where it doesn’t sound right tell me cause I spell checked and I clicked the wrong word and now I can’t find it anywhere!!!! Or you can just tell me anything in general that doesn’t sound right J thanks!!!
