Chapter 2

Emma's P.O.V.

I didn't waste any time hanging around with Lucifer after that. I snapped my fingers and materialized myself on earth. I looked around and realized I was in some sort of park. I was under the shade of a tree, with little kids playing around me.

I knew that I had to get away from here by normal means if I didn't want Lucifer to track me. So I took one step forward. And fell.

"Ow," I moaned.

I looked down and saw that my heel was stuck in the ground. Which reminded me what I was wearing. A pink outfit. With a mini skirt that was yes up past my thighs from when I fell. I huridley yanked the skirt down and hoped that no one had saw. I looked around and saw that...yes everyone was looking.

"Need some help," I heard a deep voice ask from above me.

"No" I said and hurridley stood up. I took another step forward to try and get away from all of the people staring at me. Except that I forgot to take off my heels. Again. So I fell. Again.

"Need some help," I heard the deep voiced person ask again. I finally looked up to see who was talking to me. And I kept looking up and up and up. I finally met the guys face about 10 stories off the ground. Okaay so maybe it was more like 6 feet off the ground but still he was TALL. He didn't wait for an answer he just grabbed my arm and helped me stand up.

"Thank you," I said.

"Uh huh," he said and kept walking away from me without a second glance back.

I looked around and noticed that thankfully everyone was going back to what they were doing. I took of my heels and THEN I started to walk across the park. I got to the street and decided to make a left turn since I had no idea where I was going anyway. I put my heels on again since I did NOT want to step in or on anything.

I walked to the left for about 20 minutes with my feet killing me (since heels weren't exactly around in the dark ages and I had never worn them in the Underworld) before I hit gold. It was the most wonderful building I had ever seen. It was going to be my salvation. My anti-drug. My most favorite place in this new world that I was in.

It was a Wal-Mart.
