I felt air rush into my lungs and I opened my eyes, sitting up. I heard everyone's cheers of joy. I looked around. We were in the small cave area before the barrier.
"You woke up!" They all said.
"I'm alive?" I asked aloud.
"Did you not think you would?" Toriel asked. I shook my head. She touched my soul and it popped out. It was in half, on half was left, the other was missing.
"Oh my god, what happened?" They asked.
"I told Flowey to use the souls he took and my soul to open the barrier. He said it was an iffy chance to survive," I said. I was hit on the head and I held it, looking at Sans who hit me.
"Don't do that again," he said, pulling me in and capturing my lips with his cold teeth. My heart pounded as I melted into the kiss. I heard two fangirls and a fanboy. We pulled apart and my face was crimson.
"Anyway, Lil, the barrier is broken," Toriel said. I smiled.
"I have a place for all of us to stay," I said, standing up wobbly.
"Where?" Asgore asked.
"My family has... quiet a large house. We have lots of room for more people, and they don't have to do what I do, they love more family," I said. We walked out of the barrier, the sun was setting. I remembered my father... the sickness. My eyes pooled with tears.
"Whats wrong Lil?" Toriel asked, pulling me into my arms.
"My father, I don't know if he's alive. He was close to dying when I fell down there. I need to get there now. Umm... explore around here... I'll be back hopefully soon," I said, bolting off with odd stares following.

I made it to the hospital my father was staying at. I busted through the door.
"Where is he?" I shouted. Everyone looked up at the girl who looked like shes been to hell and back. The receptionist had a pained face as she recognized me. She pulled me to the side.
"Y-you're father... he passed the day after your disappearance," she said. My breath hitched and I wobbled.
"N-no! You're lying! My dad's a strong man! He could pull through!" I shouted, tears pouring down my eyes.
"I'm sorry sweetie, but I'm telling the truth," she said. I bolted out and took in shaky breaths. He can't be... Dad can't be dead. He was going to see all the friends I made... he was going to walk me down the aisle to the man I loved. He was going... he was going... he was going to be with me forever dammit! I was sobbing now, I couldn't hold it back. He was the only one except Sans who could calm my worst nightmares down. He knew how hard it was to take a life, and how your mind replays that scene in a loop while you sleep. He was the kindest man, even if he was a Mafia boss, he was so kind to everyone and treated them like family.
I fell to my bruised and cut knees, shaking. I felt a hand on my head. I looked up to see Toriel and everyone else. She kneeled down, holding her arms out. I buried my face in her chest, sobbing loudly into her chest. She sat silently, rubbing my back before picking me up as we walked to where I guided them to the Mafia house. She set me down as I trudged to the door. I opened it to see the familiar faces of my family.
"Lil!" They all cheered, running over and hugging me.
"We all thought you died too!" Lillian cried.
"I'm fine you guys. I have new family members to introduce," I said, backing away from the hugs. I introduced everyone to the family, then introduced the others to the new family members.
"What now, boss?" Someone asked in the back.
"Show them to their new rooms, make them at home. I'll be in my office, don't disturb me please. I'll come out when I need to," I said quietly, walking up the long, spiral staircase to my old office, which had a bathroom connected to it along with a closet full of clothes. I walked into the bathroom, turning on the bath water, letting it get hot as I took off my ripped clothes, throwing them away and setting my holsters down.

Once the bath was full, I plopped myself in, holding my knees to my chest, staring off as I remembered all the times Dad and I played and wrestled with the family.

"Daddy! Daddy! Look! I caught a fishy! Are you proud?" I asked, smiling as I held up the small, baby trout by the mouth.
"Very proud baby girl," he says, ruffling my hair. I giggled.

"Daddy!" I said, tackling him. He laughed and tickled me, hearing my squeals of happiness as I laughed.

"Ms. Lazara! Please don't run around the halls!" One of the maids called.
"I'll be fine!" I called back, grinning before I slipped and landed on my butt. I started crying as I felt my butt bruise up. Dad swooped me up in his arms.
"Didn't I tell you you'd hurt yourself if you ran?" He asked. I nodded.
"Y-yeah," I hiccuped.
"Did you learn your lesson?" He asked. I nodded. He smiled, brushing my tears away and bouncing me to make me giggle.

I felt a hand grab my shoulder. I looked up with dull eyes to see Sans. He sighed.
"The water's ice cold now, come on," he said, picking me up and setting me on the counter as he grabbed a towel, drying me off, smiling at me. I couldn't bring myself to smile, only looked at him with my sad, puffy dull eyes.

He left before coming back with fluffy white pajamas, helping me change into them. He grabbed a hair brush, picking me up and sitting on the only couch in the room, in there corner, and placed me on his lap, brushing my hair out, slowly relaxing me. I closed my tired eyes and laid against him, falling asleep.
