I woke up to hear someone... Papyrus... singing in the kitchen. I sighed, sitting up, rubbing away the cursed memories from my eyes as I stood up.
Sans was no where in sight, so I guessed he was still sleeping. I popped my head into the kitchen to see Papyrus starting the stove with a big pot of water.
"Whatcha making Paps?" I asked.
"SPAGHETTI," he said.
"Here, I'll take it over, go get Sans to wake up," I said.
"YOU CAN COOK?" He asked.
"Yeah, some friends taught me," I said. He looks at me in awe before running to Sans room. I take over looking, pouring some olive oil into the pot. It makes the noodles slick and more bendy. I ready the sauce and meatballs, having to roll of my white sleeves, tying the apron on me so I didn't get sauce on my clothes.Soon, the water was boiling and I gently putting in the noodles. I stirred the noodles occasionally, letting them get nice and relaxed. Then, it was done, I served up three big plates, putting them on the table.
"Sans! Paps! Spaghetti is done!" I called. They come in and they're jaws drop.
"Is it edible?" Sans asked. I rolled my eyes.
"Of course. Everyone loves my recipe on the surface," I said.
"What's the difference between normal spaghetti and yours?" Sans asked.
"I put olive oil before putting in the noodles to make them nice and silky so it's easier to eat. I put bread crumbs and garlic in the meatballs, so they're extra juicy and delicious," I said, sitting down with my plate in front of me, taking a bite. Sans takes a hesitant bite.
"That's actually good, Papy, you should take some lessons from her, so should Undyne," he says.
"WELL, THE GREAT PAPYRUS SHALL! I AM THE SPAGHETTI MASTER AND SHOULD USE DIFFERENT RECIPES FROM TIME TO TIME!" Papyrus said. I looked up with a raised eyebrow and a mouth full of meatballs.
"Mhm," I mumbled out, covering my mouth with one hand.
"What was that?" Sans asked. I swallowed the meatball down before answering.
"I was trying to say, okay, we'll do it later, cause all I see in this house is stuff to make spaghetti," I said.
"Well, that's all Papy here cooks. I usually go to Grillbys," Sans said.
"GRILLBYS IS FULL OF GREASE AND ITS DISGUSTING," Papyrus said.
"You're a skeleton," Sans said.
"YES, BUT I'M A SKELETON WITH STANDARDS," Papyrus said.
"A skele-TON of standards," I joked. Papyrus looked angry while Sans was chuckling.
"HUMAN IS JUST LIKE SANS!" Papyrus said.
"Oh come on, the opportunity stood right in front of me," I said, smirking. Papyrus stared. I raised an eyebrow. He grabbed my cheeks, causing me to squeal as my cheeks turned red. He pulled and lifted them.
"HUMAN, YOU NEED TO SMILE! I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU SMILE!" He said. I slapped his hands way and put on a weak smile.
"Better?" I asked.
"WEAK. BIGGER SMILE!" Papyrus said. I sighed, actually smiling at his goofiness.
"She can actually smile," Sans said. I rolled my eyes.
"Of course I can, I mean, I have to use it sometimes," I said. Papyrus was clapping his hands. We finished our spaghetti and decided to head out. I tried to just leave my holsters, but I felt bare without them, so I strapped them back on.
"Whatcha doing Kiddo?" He asked.
"Putting on my holsters," I said, bending by the hips to but on my calf holster.
"I-I can see that, but why?" He asked.
"They were a present from my father, I feel bonely and bare when I don't have them on," I said, adding a put. Sans chuckled. I straightened and noticed Sans cheeks were blue a bit. Was that from me?
"Well, come on Kiddo," he said, walking out with Papyrus.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"We're going to the castle. We wouldn't let you go alone. Well, Papyrus wouldn't, he says he wants to be friends still and doesn't want to let you wander alone," Sans said. I raised an eyebrow.
"Submissive," I said, grinning. Sans laughed hard again before we walked to Papyrus, who was a little ahead.
"COME ON!" Papyrus said.
"I can't run in heels Paps. If I had known I'd be down here, I wouldn't of worn them," I said. Arms went around my back and behind my knees, picking me up bridal style. I squeaked. Sans had picked me up.
"Let's go Papy," he said. My cheeks heated up and I crossed my arms. At least my feet can rest. Papyrus bolted off and suddenly, Sans and I were in another snowy area. I felt a bit dizzy. I looked back to see Papyrus still running, looking mad at Sans but looked happy too. We continued to keep appearing in different areas until we got to a damp, wetland area. Papyrus ran up to us.
"This is Waterfall. Let's be careful. Undyne may not be too fond of us with a human," Sans said. I nod and we started walking, talking quietly. We came up to some tall grass. We ducked inside when a heavily armored person with red hair flowing behind them came to the edge, looking around. They stepped back and I shifted a bit, biting my lip when the grass moved. They moved forward again, a spear materializing in their hand as they inspected the grass. They shook it off, disappearing into the dark.
