I opened my eyes. I realized I was in the long hallway before the throne room.
"Lil? You okay?" Sans asked. I blinked, looking up at him.
"Y-yeah," I said. Suddenly my phone rang. I answered it.
"Hey punk, can you deliver something for me?" Undyne's voice on the other said asked.
"Sure, I'll be there in a second, where are you?" I asked.
"Papyrus's house," she said, hanging up. Sans teleported us there, Papyrus went inside, deciding to "cook".
"Hey Undyne," I said. She nods to me, handing me a letter.
"Deliver this to Dr. Alphyis, and if you read it I'LL KILL YOU!" She said. I nod. Sans had gone inside so I ran to Hotlands, slipping it under the door of Alphyis lab front door. I heard her mutter something before she opened the door.
"YOU wrote this? Oh my god, that's so cute and adorable. O-of course. Let's do it! L-lets go on a date! Just give me a second to change!" She said, running back inside before I could correct her.She came out in a black dress with white dots. She looked cute.
"Oh! I k-know where we should go!" She said, leading me to a garbage dump....
"Wow, this looks... uh... nice," I said, chuckling. She looked up and smiled.
"I-I know! I find all sorts of stuff here! Cool movies, anime, manga and figures!" She said.
"That's cool," I said.
"Do you like anime?" She asked.
"Of course. I think it's pretty cool, there's some crappy ones out there though," I said. She nods
"Would you like to Mew Mew Kissy Cutie sometime?" She asked, grinning.
"Sounds cute, sure," I said, smiling. We both heard footsteps and she hid behind a trash can. Undyne came over.
"That letter! Give it back," she said.
"I already... kinda... gave it to the love of your life?" I said, grinning.
"What? Have you seen her?" Undyne asked.
"Yeah," I said, stretching.
"Then she's around here somewhere," Undyne said, walking off. Alphyis popped her head out.
"D-did I h-hear that right?" She asked. I nod.
"Yep, she loves you. And now, I have to go battle the king, have fun!" I said, waving and walking off.I ran to the castle, walking through the empty throne room and into the barrier, where Asgore stood, facing away.
"This is the barrier, this is what keeps us all trapped underground. If you have any unfinished business, please do what you must," he said. I stepped forward.
"I'll continue," I said.
"I see... this is it then," he said, turning to me slowly, "ready?" I nod. The souls in jars appear again.
"Human... it was nice to meet you. Goodbye," he said.
"It was nice to meet you too, Asgore," I said, stepping back as a familiar fire ball hit him out of the way. I looked up to see Toriel.
"What a miserable creature, torturing such a poor, innocent, youth... Do not be afraid Lil, it is I, Toriel, your friend and guardian," Toriel said. My eyes widened and I ran to her, hugging her tightly.
"Mom," I said softly. She smiled and hugged me back.
"At first, I thought I would let you make your journey alone... but I could not stop worrying about you. You're adventure must have been so treacherous... and ultimately, it would have burdened you with a horrible choice. To leave this place, you would have to take the life of another person. You would have to defeat Asgore. However... I realized... I cannot allow that. It is not right to sacrifice someone simply to let someone leave here. Is that not what I have been trying to prevent this whole time? So, for now, let us suspend this battle. As terrible as Asgore is... he deserves mercy too," she said.
"Tori... you came back..." Asgore said.
"Don't 'Tori' me, Dreemurr! You pathetic whelp," she said, continuing to scold him as she held me close to her. He asked if they could be friends and she declined. Undyne showed up, screaming not to fight, then Undyne, Papyrus, and lastly, Sans... my eyes widened at Sans as my heart pounded. Why?
"Heya guys, what's up?" He asked. I smiled.
"That voice!... hello, I think we may... know each other?" Toriel asked, recognizing Sans voice. Pain shot through my heart as she walked over to Sans.
"Oh hey... I recognize your voice, too," he said.
"I am Toriel, so nice to meet you," Toriel introduced herself.
"The name's Sans, and.. uh.. same," he said.
"Oh! Wait then... this must be your brother, Papyrus! Greetings Papyrus, it's so nice to finally meet you, your brother has told me so much about you," She said, looking at Papyrus.
"WOWIE... I CAN'T BELIEVE ASGORES CLONE KNOWS WHO I AM! THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!" Papyrus said.
"Hey, Papyrus... what does a skeleton tile his roof with?" She asks.
"HMM... SNOW PROOF ROOF TILES?" He said, more questioning himself.
"No silly! A skeleton tiles his roof with... SHIN-gles!" She said. I started laughing.
"I CHANGED MY MIND. THIS IS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!" Papyrus exclaimed. I laughed harder.
"Come on Asgore, it's gonna be okay! There are plenty of fish in the sea!..." Undyne said. My heart hurt more.
"Y-yeah Asgore!" Alphyis said, starting a weird rant as they continued to talk.
Then, Mettaton walked in, staying close to Papyrus, it was obvious they liked eachother.
"OH MY GOD! WILL YOU TWO JUST SMOOCH ALREADY!" Mettaton said. Before they could, Toriel stopped it, reminding everyone that I was there. They all lined up in front of me.
"My child, it seems you must remain here for a while. But, looking at all the great friends you've made... I think you'll be happy here," she said.
"H-hey, that reminds me... Papyrus, you called everyone here, right? Well, besides, uh, her. Uh, anyway, if I got here before you, how did you know how to call everyone?" She asked.
"LETS JUST SAY... A TINY FLOWER HELPED ME," he said. I pulled out my knife, having a bad feeling.
"A tiny... flower?" Alphyis asked, fear in her eyes.Suddenly, everyone except me was wrapped up in vines in front of me, and Flowey stood in front of me, cackling. I gritted my teeth.
"You IDIOTS. While you guys were having your pow-wow... I took the human SOULS!! And now, not only are THOSE under my power... BUT ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS' SOULS WILL BE TOO!" He said. I sighed, pulling out my pistol and shooting the vines. It weakened him as he yelped. The electricity stopped running through.
"I told you before in the last battle, I'll just beat you again," I said.
"I CAN STILL KILL THEM!" He shouted. I picked him up, cutting the vines off him as everyone dropped.
"Not really," I said, smirking. He looked defeated already.
"I STILL HAVE THESE!" He said, showing the human souls, that weren't responding to him.
"And I still have one bullet left, now, do me a tinsey winsey favor, and break down the barrier with those souls and mine, or I blow your monster brains out," I said, holding the pistol up to his head. He looked pissed.
"This will most likely kill you," he said.
"I can live with it, now get this over with before they wake up," I said. He frowned, closing his eyes as everything went white.
