I got home with Litho, who gasped in surprise of how big the house is.
"Would you like to see your new family?" I asked. He nods excitedly. I grab his hand, opening the door. Sans looked up, obviously waiting for me to come home, his eyesockets widening at the sight of the child.
"Another skeleton?" Sans questioned.
"His name's Litho, he was still in the underground, I brought him here," I said. Litho tugged on my sleeve.
"Mom!" He exclaimed, everyone widening their eyes at what he called me. I looked down at him with a smile.
"Yes?" I ask.
"H-hungry!" He said, little black tears popping out of his eyesockets. I chuckle, picking him up, setting him on my hip.
"Would you like a sandwich?" I asked. He nods, drooling. Sans walked over, grinning at the skeleton child. Everyone seemed to cheer up, seeing Litho. We walked into the kitchen and I set Litho down on the counter, slicing the cheese and ham, laying it on a slice of bread and putting the other piece of bread on top. I hand it to Litho and Sans looked at me, drooling. I giggle, making him a sandwich too. They both gobbled the sandwiches down. Litho yawned, looking tired. I carried him into my room, tucking him into bed as he fell asleep right when I set him down. I left the room without a sound and Sans smiled at me.
"So, he calls you mom, huh?" He asks. I smile fondly.
"Yeah," I mumble happily.
"I heard about... your child conceiving problems... Toriel told me a couple days ago," he said. I looked down, my smile fading.
"Y-yeah," I said quietly.
"But I think he looks just like me, but not big-boned," Sans says, chuckling.
"He reminded me so much of you when I saw him. He was so alone too," I said softly, saddened as I remembered Litho crying. Sans lifted my chin up.
"If we had a child together, it would be Litho," he said, kissing me gently to cheer me up, and it worked. Toriel walked up to us.
"Where did you find that child?" Toriel asked.
"Where I fell, he was crying in the flowers, like he was hoping someone would fall down so he wouldn't be lonely," I said, giving her a questioning look.
"He seemed very happy to be with you. I told you, you'd be a great mother. Just be glad you missed out on the diapers," she said, laughing softly.
"Oh thank god that I did, I would've had a shitty time," I joked. We laughed at the terrible pun.
"Mommy!" I heard Litho cry out, obviously upset. I sigh, walking in to see him crying, shaking. I pick him up, cradling him on my lap. He was tiny.
"Did you have a nightmare?" I asked. He nodded, whimpering.
"It w-was scary Mommy!" He said.
"Well, no one is going to get you, except me!" I said, laying him down and tickling him. He squeals and laughs, squirming. I grin, laughing as I stopped. He continued giggling.
"Mommy! No fair!" He said. I grin.
"Im sorry Baby," I said, hugging him. He hugs me back as my heart swells with joy of my son hugging me. Toriel and Sans watch from the doorway and I nod for them to come in.
"People!" Litho said. I chuckle. I point to Sans then Toriel.
"That's Daddy, and that's Grandma," I say. Litho runs up to Sans, tackling him in a hug.
"Daddy!" He said, grinning happily. Sans looked shocked, eyesockets wide before he hugged him back, smiling. Toriel smiled at the two.
"Hey Kiddo, you're giving me a bone-crushing hug," Sans jokes. Litho grins, laughing at the joke. My heart swelled with love and happiness. Toriel gave me an unreadable stare, so many emotions mixed in I couldn't tell what she was thinking.
"Mommy! Mommy! Play!" Litho exclaims, tugging on my skirt gently.
"Then let's go to the park, then we'll buy you some nice clothes to look like a handsome young man," I say, picking him up, smiling. He cheered. Sans pulled on his slippers, which I laughed softly. I hugged Toriel bye as we walked out of the house and to the nearby park. I set Litho on the ground as he ran to the swings, sitting on them and confused why the move. I walk over and chuckle.
"Grab the chains, when you go forward, point your legs straight out, then tuck them under you when you go back, ready?" I said. He nods, gripping the chains tightly. I pushed him gently as he started swinging. He laughed and cheered.
"Higher mommy!" He said, so I pushed a bit harder, making sure he wasn't going to high. Sans was watching from the park bench, grinning. I smiled at him as I pulled my attention back to Litho. He seemed to loosen his grip, and I pushed, causing him to fall off the swing at the highest peek. I ran to where he was going to land, but Sans teleported, catching him easily. I sighed in relief, my heart calming down. Litho cheered.
"Again!" Litho said. I chuckled, rubbing his skull.
"Maybe when you know how to stick the landing," I said. He nods, looking excited before running off to play on the slides. I was getting disgusted glares from mothers as Litho passed their children. I gave them my most horrifying glare and they squealed, looking away in fear. I walked to the bottom of the big slide as Litho sat at the top.
"Come on Litho, I'll catch you," I say, grinning and holding my arms out at the bottom of the slide. He nods, looking nervous but pushed himself down and into my arms. Sans chuckled, kissing my cheek and patting Litho's head gently.
"Nice job Kiddo," he said, praising him. Litho look joyful at the praise of Sans. It melted my heart. We got clothes for Litho before heading back home. He held out hands as he walked between Sans and I. Sans held a bag of clothes after we argued slightly on who gets the bag, but we didn't raise our voice, more like childish pouting from me and Sans treating me like a weakling, but he said he was treating me like a lady... really? Me? Lady?
We got home, Sans helping Litho bathe, then putting him in pajamas since it was already late. I cooked spaghetti, teaching Papyrus as I did and served it for everyone. I helped Litho eat so he didn't get it everywhere, chuckling at the funny faces he made trying to chew the spaghetti.
"You look happy, Lil," someone said behind me. I look behind to see Asgore. I smile.
"I am very happy, Asgore," I said. Litho looked at Asgore.
"Grandpa!" Litho said, pointing at Asgore, who looked surprised and excited at the same time.
"Wow, just realized you are an old man," I joked. He chuckled.
"I suppose I am," he said, smiling.
"Ms. Lazara... Mr. Konica is here to talk to you," one of the maids alerted me. I nod, dismissing them as Mr. Konica walked in.
"Hello, Ms. Lazara," Mr. Konica said, leaning in the doorway, crossing his arms, smirking at Asgore, Litho and I. I held Litho behind me.
"Mr. Konica, may I ask what the surprise is about?" I questioned, glaring.
"Well, I heard you had a son, I came to see him," Mr. Konica said.
"I don't want him to talk to you or anything of the sort. So leave now," I growled. Litho tugged on my sleeve, pointed to the gun at Mr. Konica's hip. I rubbed his skull and hid him behind me.
"The kids smart, knows when there is a threat," Mr. Konica says, smirking and pointing the gun at me. I pulled mine out, making Litho cover his ears and look away as I shot Mr. Konica dead, but only to feel pain wash through my body, waves of pain coming from my side. I heard everyone walk in. I gasped for breath, holding myself up so they didnt worry.
"Clean up his body," I said, but talking made me fall to my knees. Litho cried out, hugging me and trying to pick me up again. Everyone rushed over to me, helping me up to the hospital. We got there and I was rushed into the Emergency Room, having to have surgery right now. The mask covered my face and I inhaled the fumes as it put me to sleep for the surgery.
When I came to, I saw Sans and Litho with me. Litho was laying next to me on the hospital bed, asleep, Sans on the other side or me, both holding me gently. I saw a hideous hospital gown was there instead of my normal clothes and I remembered the shot probably made my shirt turn blood red. The doctor walked in and smiled.
"You're awake, that's good. You're lucky, the bullet barely missed your intestines and went out, so all we had to do was stitch it up. I say you should stay down for two weeks to heal both the outside stitches and the double stitches," the doctor said.
"Alright, thanks doctor," I said. He smiled.
"You have a wonderful son and husband," he said and left. H-husband? Was that what Sans told him so he would be able to stay? Probably. I felt Litho stir before he opened his eyes, well, they more of appeared.
"Mommy!" He exclaimed, hugging me tightly. I winced and hugged him back, not wanting him to feel bad for causing pain so I hid it. Sans woke up when Litho shouted, hugging the both of us.
"Hey Kitten," Sans said, kissing my cheek.
"Hey Sans," I said, smiling. He grinned and helped me up. I hissed in pain, keeping my torso relaxed so it wouldn't rip the stitches. Litho held my hand, making me feel a bit better. Sans sighed, deciding just to pick me up, making me squeak. Litho laughed and ran out of the room with Sans following with me in his arms as we made it to the nurses up front. They looked surprised by me being held by Sans and Litho jumping around happily.
"Knock it off you brat!" I heard a deep male voice behind me shout. I look to see a pissed off man holding Litho's wrist. Sans put me down and I stomped over, hospital gown and all, punching the man as hard as I could in the face, making him fall to the ground, letting go of Litho.
"If you touch my son again, or say anything to him, I'll make sure you won't be able to have children," I growled, wincing as I picked Litho up, glad no stitches ripped. The man scoffed, holding his now broken nose.
"Whore," he growled. Sans took Litho out of my arms and I kicked the man hard in the gut, hissing in pain as my side flared. He was winded and we were allowed to go. We all stepped over him as everyone looked on in either surprise, shock, or awe for protecting my son. I kissed Sans.
"Let's get home," I said. He chuckled and nodded, grabbing my hand, holding on tight to Litho as we teleported back home.
