The three of us arrived back home at some time after 10pm and crammed up on the sofa in the living room. Jungkook is staying the night and that's the first problem i'm facing since i've been here after a few days.
"We could all just sleep here you know? The living room.. we could watch some movies?" Taehyung speaks his mind out and I froze. Without waiting for my reply, Taehyung took a few pillows out from our bedrooms and lining them on the fluffy carpet before rummaging through the sides of the sofa in search of the missing tv remote.
"Here," Jungkook passes the remote to Taehyung and I'm a little relieved to not be sitting in the middle. Taehyung won't do anything weird.. right? Well he did say he's not gay, then I guess I'll be fine sleeping beside him.
Throughout the movie that Taehyung picked out—which is a thriller-comedy—I can barely keep my eyes open and decided to lay down. Within minutes of scrolling through my Instgram feed, I surrendered to the soft pillow under my head.
My eyes sprung open when I heard the clinking sound of glass from the kitchen. It's dark and Taehyung is sleeping soundly beside me, facing the other way. I lift my head up to see Jungkook not being there and I came to my senses that it's Jungkook in the kitchen.
After a moment of staring at the ceiling, Taehyung shifts and is now facing me. His breathing is soft and his face looks at ease. I'm quite surprised to be this close to him, to his face. And suddenly his hands are around me, hugging me like I'm a child's stuffed toy—or a bolster. I tried to wiggle myself out of his hold but I heard footsteps coming our way and I stop, pretending to be asleep.
Jungkook stops when he's near us. I could see him smiling weakly and shaking his head slightly before continuing his way to Taehyung's side and maybe resume his sleep. Getting out of Taehyung's hold is almost impossible so I gave up and decided to drift back to sleep. Before my eyes close, I saw a glimpse of Taehyung's face and he's smiling in his sleep—and I drift away from reality.
"So after all this while you pretended to be a guy??"
"How dare you lie to me all this while.. I wouldn't be this mad if you have told me earlier that you're a girl! I'm sorry but I can't live with a girl—not yet, atleast. I'll need you to leave."
"But Taehyung-ah, where would I go? I don't have anyone here. Please.. don't do this to me."
"That's not my problem. I'm sorry Young-ah."
I woke up with a jolt—sweating and scared. That was just a dream. Thank God that was just a dream, where am I supposed to go if it wasn't?
Jungkook is still sleeping on the other side. I can see him clearly, that is without Taehyung blocking my view. I just realized now that Jungkook is not wearing any t-shirt and there goes the innocence of my eyes..
"Hey, are you okay?" His voice startled me. I quickly turn my head so that he won't freak out with the way I was looking at shirtless Jungkook and I shudder as I remembered the dream. "Bad dream, huh? It's okay, we're here." He walks over towards me from the kitchen table and hand me a glass of water. "Thanks. What time is it?"
"It's just ten minutes past six. You're walking in at ten right?"
I squint my eyes and look at him confusingly before I'm reminded of work. Yes, I forgot that I am employed. I nod and his lips quirk into a smirk.
"He's going to wake up at least at nine," Taehyung says looking over at the sleeping beauty. "Want to get some fresh air?"
I nod and we left a few minutes after.
The morning air is fresh, the sky is beautiful. Since it's still six, not many are seen. Some people are jogging and there are a few just walking about, like us.
"Yah, Kim Taehyung," Someone shouted. We looked around and saw someone running towards us. His bangs bouncing on his forehead. He's slightly shorter than Taehyung and a very wide smile is plastered on his face.
