Chapter 2

*The next day....*

I went to my locker to get all my books cause next week will be our examination, while I was walking along a trail of grey lockers I saw from far vision a locker full of colorful sticker notes. While I was getting closer and closer I said to myself "It can't be mine, I have no suitors. In fact everyone in this campus thinks that i'm a weirdo". But unexpectedly the colorful locker that filled with sticker notes was mine. I was surprised and had unexplained feeling cause all those stickers has sweet messages but I told myself not to take this seriously maybe those jerks are just making fool out of me again.

They won't get me this time around. After reading all those love notes I was having second thoughts like, WHAT IF what if is this wasn't a joke or what if this was real or what if this is just a stupid joke... *sigh* so I used my brain not my feelings. I crumpled all those stupid notes and throw it in the garbage can, then moved away.

* During examinations *

"Dia, you seat there in front" said my bio teacher, Mrs Nollmen. I usually seat in front during examinations, I don't know why but maybe because I always have the highest scores and my teachers want to see how I did it or maybe because they don't want others to copy my answers. So I immediately I transferred my ass in the front seat where my teacher appointed.

I reviewed two times my test papers to make it sure I had the correct answer as i've studied.

I was about to pass my papers to Mrs Nollmen, I walk pass through Marky's chair then Marky gave me a wink with his beautiful, eye catching and deep blue eyes. I was turbulent.

"Why did he did that? Is that wonderful wink for me? or for someone behind me or what?" me talking to my mind. It can't be me, he's to high to have a crush on someone so low as me. Well come to think of it, he's the football captain whom other girls want, while here I am facing all my books whom other girls think weird and different.

Don't keep your hopes up Dia.

Its break time, Me and Kim are heading our way to the cafeteria to grab our forever favourite snack, macaroni and cheese but unfortunately our regular seat was occupied.

"Ohhh that's supposed to be our seat Dy" Kim exhaustingly said. "That's allright Kim, let's just find another seat" I replied.

Then there was this boy from the back shouting my name...

"Dia!" it was Marky. I slowly looked at him at the back, right side near the door where he and his friends usually eat.

"You and Kim here" with a smile. So its an opportunity I can't slip this out. Kim hurriedly go and seat beside Marky. "Dy! faster" she said.

I was quite shocked cause I didn't expect Kim would leave me behind just to seat with Marky, what does she thinking!? That I would steal her opportunity to seat beside him or what? Ughh.. I just sat between her and Marky's front then thanked Marky for the seat.

She's trying to take Marky's attention and it irritates me, she's like flirting with Marky and i'm feeling null. "Marky, Kim I have to go" I said calmly. "Why?? your too early for our next class" Marky asked.

"We will have a test in Chemistry, you forgot? I slept early last night I have to go study". I answered with a calm face smirking. "Ohhhh I forgooot *face palm* i'm coming with you" he hurriedly said.

"Heyyy what about me?" Kim grievely said with a frown face. "I'm sorry Kim, I really.. really have to go I haven't studied a thing I can't manage to have an A- below. Bye let's just meet up later" I rapidly said. "Bye Kim" Marky then followed.

* while walking *

I opened my bag to get my chemistry book and it wasn't there good thing my locker is along the way, I can just drop by and again... my locker was filled with love notes uhhhm not just ordinary love notes it was colorful, eye-catching, sweet, adorable all of the word that meant nice.

"Oh Diaaaa, this is so sweet who made this?" Marky asked while teasing me. "Oh no! I don't know who this monsters" I frantically said. I thought he did all those, I though Marky is my secret admirer but... I think all of this is just a joke.

I removed all those stupid notes and was planning to rip it but Marky instantly said "Don't... you won't mind to read those? I bet the guy who made it made an effort" smirking.

"I won't, its just a stupid joke made by those jerks. I must say. I don't want to be naive" then I crumpled those notes and junked it on my bag.

*In the science laboratory, after test*

Our professor was announcing our scores... I was really hoping that I'll got a passing grade even if I studied late and such for a short time.

"Dia Loren 96, Congratulations Dy you got the highest grade again" surprisingly said.

Ohhhhh even if I haven't perfect the exam i'm still grateful God made me the highest <3 I was mesmerized and still stoked cause for that short circle of time I managed to be the top. C'mon! We all want to be the at the top right??

"Marky Smith 92 you're next in line with Ms Loren" our professor said with a loud voice. Marky smiled at me and was very happy to have a high grade just like me he studied for a short circle of time. I

s this what they call "meant to be" or what? haha forgive me i'm just very happy for the both of us. We both did a great job and the special thing is we did it TOGETHER. Oh c'mon girls y'all know that amazing feeling you get when you study with your crush and have high scores with him.. my little paradise feeling.

The next day I was sitting alone during my on the blue bench inside the football field while the football team was practicing and definitely Marky was there. He was really sweating and he was very good at it, he really deserves to be the captain of the team.

While my head is having a bit of bow to the book reading, I saw a glimpse of an image slowly walking near me.

"Hi dy" a boy with a sweet voice said. I was slowly turning my head from where he is standing.

Then I saw the guy which is Marky. I was in a complete shock. Well you know, who would have thought that some handsome guy would just draw near close to a nerd who is reading a book, worst part ALONE.

"Ohhh Marky uhmnn... Hi" I said with a voice obviously shocked.
