I walked into the house smiling. I just couldnt stop smiling. I was so happy. Its like something clicked inside me when he kissed me.
MaMa: Its late. Where were you?
Leiah: Oh. I was just with jake studying for the redo test tomorrow.
MaMa: Redo? Why do you have to do a redo test Leiah?
Leiah: Well jake asked a question so she took his test and i asked to go to the bathroom and she took my test so tomorrow we have to re take it tomorrow after school.
MaMa: Will you need a ride home?
Leiah: No. Im getting a ride from jake.
MaMa: Okay.
Shanaya: You guys have been hanging out alot lately.
Leiah: Yeah.
Shanaya: Hey i gotta talk to you in private.
Leiah: Okay.
We walked up the stairs into our room. We sat on her bed which is closest to the window.
Shanaya: Spill
Leiah: What?
Shanaya: I know you werent at school today. Whyd you lie? Were you with jacob?
Leiah: Okay today yes i was with jake but i do have to stay after tomorrow cause i have detention.
Shanaya: What did you guys do today?
Leiah: We just hung out.
Shanaya: Then why did you walk into the house late smiling like an idiot.
Leiah: I have no clue what your talking about.
Shanaya: Tell me or ill go tell mom you lied.
Leiah: Ugh Fine.
Shanaya: Im listening.
Leiah: I broke up with adam.
Shanaya: What? Are you serious?
Leiah: Yeah. Im scared cause hes coming after me but he wont say when.
Shanaya: Are you okay?
Leiah: Yeah. Whenever im with jacob its like i feel protected and dont have to be afraid anymore.

Leiah: What? What did i say?

Leiah: My feet hurt so while we were walking he swept me off my feet.
Shanaya: He picked you up? How?
