The Enemy Just Became An Alie

Damon Pov

Every came rushing over to Leiah. Ian and Matt just ran to go get a doctor. I sat in one of the empty chairs in the room as the doctor approached Leiah.

Doctor: How are you feeling Leiah?

Leiah: I feel fine. I have a headache and feel sore but im fine.

She sent a big smile towards me. I was thank ful no one realized. They kept talking to her. The nurse came in as the doctor was explaining what was going to happen and that she will be released today. The nurse brought in a wheelchain and i got up to help. She sat in it and smiled at everyone. As they were talking i kept thinking of what i said to her and how only a few moments later she woke up. It was weird but i was happy that she was awake and well. She told us how happy she was. Everyone was crying. I even cried and i never cry. She rolled the chair to me.

Leiah: Thank you.

Damon: For what?

Leiah: For staying with me, for bringing me here, for not letting me die.

I knew everyone was watching but i had to say this.

Damon: I wouldnt let that happen. Id die before youd die.

She smiled at me and i knew the boys would tease me later tonight.

Gen: Okay, everyone lets go to my house and we can all stay there for a few days.

Everyone agreed and i was left to answer.

Matt: Damon?

Damon: Huh? What?

Gen: Would you like to stay with us for a few?

Damon: Sure. Yeah, Thank you.

Gen: Then its settled. I have a few guest bedrooms and theres the couch. Well figure it out.

Everyone: Thanks Ms.Mitchell

Gen: Please call me Gen

We all sat up and waited for the doctor. After an hour he came in.

Doctor: Okay. She is free to go but keep a close eye on her. If shes acting funny bring her back here and i will do a check up on her. I sent a few pills and vidimins for her to take to the pharmacy you are currently are using. The vitimins are for daytime and pills for night. She should get as much sleep as possible. I know you may not want that but if you can sleep sleep. If she has any headache give her ibriprofen. It will help. Other than that your free to go. Good luck Leiah. 

Leiah: Thank you.

He nodded at Leiah and then left the room. I pushed her wheelchair. She seemed calm and relaxed. I'm gonna keep a sharp eye on her. I don't want her hurting ever again. I wont let that happen. She means to much to me. I don't know why but she just does. We got to our cars. I let her mom bring her home. I didnt have my car so they let me ride with them.

We were at a red light. Leiah was asleep in my arms.

Shanaya: You care for her dont you?

Damon: Yeah.

Shanaya: Im glad she met you and im glad shes coming home. Ive missed her.

I stayed silent just watching her.

Shanaya: She needs someone like you. Jacob never came to see her and you never left her side.

Damon: He said he wouldnt that he was leaving town forever
