Leiah Pov

I waited in my room for about 10 minutes and then they all came in. Including my mom and sister. I held onto the necklace my dad gave me. I knew he was watching over me. I was happy he was. We all discussed the plan and we agreed with everything.

Leiah: So what happens when i go to race for him

Damon: Thats the point he thinks your going to but your not. 

Leiah: It seems to easy.

Damon: Leiah, We all are going to be fine. Adam is going to be on the inside and tell us exactly what he plans. We all will meet at the place. Your job is to let him take you

Leiah: Im scared.

Adam: Dont be. Itll work.

Shanaya: No matter how dangerous this is we need to do this. 

Gen: I hate to say this but your sister is right. This needs to be done. Not just for your safety but for all of our safety. If we put an end to him youll be able to live a happy life like your father would want.

Shanaya: Hed be proud of you. I just know he will. Hed want you to do this. He would want you to be strong smart fearless

Leiah: I know. I miss him.

Shanaya: We all do but hes never left. Hell always be with us.....In our hearts. He blesses us every day when we wake up and every night when we fall asleep. He has never left.

Leiah: I know. I just gotta be strong for him. What about when i cant walk?

Shanaya: Youll need to get your strength back. We will all help you. 

Matt: We are your family Leiah. Nothing will ever happen to you. 

Leiah: Thanks you guys. It means alot. When dad passed i felt empty but now that i have all of you i dont feel that way no more. You guys have filled that spot in my heart. Dad would be proud and happy that i have this. When does the plan start?

Ian: Well right now.

Adam: We need to act like everything is normal. We cant act different or hell know something is up. Ill keep in touch with damon and hell pass the news to all of you. This will work. 

Leiah: How do you know? How can you be so sure?

Stephan: Cause we have hope and as long as we have hope we will always have a chance at winning. 

Nick: Its like when you race. Your nervous at first but once your hand is on the wheel and you hear the engine roar your ready to fight and win. How do you feel when u race.

Leiah: It always feels like dad is in the race car with me. He taught me how to drive how to race so when i hear the engine roar and they count down i get lost in the moment i dont wanna stop so i go as hard as i can cause my dad always gave me hope.

Nick: Exactly. Thats just like this. Think of the plan as a race that your having so much hope to win and imagine your dad is right by your side just like we are.

Damon: Hey, Listen to me. We will win this. I promise you we will. No matter what happens well always find a way back to eachother.

Leiah: Promise?

Everyone: Promise.

Damon Pov

i saw her laugh and ease up. We stayed in her room for awhile and just watched netflix together. Adam was on his best behavior. I will fight him if he dares cross us but i dont think he will. I looked into his eyes when he spoke up and saw he was serious about keeping Leiah safe.
