Chapter five

*next day*

Matthew Stephen and I got ready for Jakes concert. We left hours early so we can actually get it. We arrive at the concert and there's tons of girls already. "Baby put ear plugs in it's super loud" he says to me. I listen and put them in but still can hear. Steve gets out his phone and makes a call he's on for about a minute then three big guys come out of the doors and take us inside. "Your with Jake Miller?" The guy ask us. Stephen says yes and we are taken to a little room. "Stephen! Stephanie!" I hear that familiar voice say, and for the first time since we split up my eyes met his again. Matt wraps his arm around my stomach and smiles at Jake. "Oh Stephanie your expecting a baby?" He ask and hugs me. "Yes we are" I say looking at Matt smiling. "Hey bro!" He says shaking hands with Stephen. "I'm jake" he says to Matt. "Matt, nice to meet you Jake. Your a great artist I really respect your music" matt says which surprises me. "Jake?" I question and everyone looks at me. "Yeah?" He answers smiling. "Can I meet Kevin?" I ask quietly and Steve laughs super loudly which Matt and Jake look at him like he's insane. "My sister has the hugest crush on your drummer Kevin" Steve says. "Shut up" I say laughing and we all go walking around backstage. "Matt can you buy me one of them shirts?" I ask stopping at a table. It says 'be Smart and go after the drummer' (Get it his drummer is Kevin Smart?? Lmao) "just take it" Jake says to me and giving Matt and Steve a camouflage hoodie. I squeal and put the shirt on. "He's in here" jake says knocking on the door "what?" Someone says on the other side of it. "Kevin my friend wants to meet you can we come it" jake shouts. "Mhmm" he says and opens the door revealing a shirtless Kevin.. "Um babe please don't get mad at me if I drool and stare cause my celebrity crush is standing shirtless in front of me" I ramble to Matt and he just laughs. "Kevin this is Stephanie I'd say your biggest fan" Jake says to Kevin. "Awe honey your expecting" Kevin says touching my stomach. "Well Brayden is blessed now" I say and everyone laughs. "Your too adorable" Kevin says hugging me. "I like your shirt" he says signing it. "She goes after the drummer cause she already got the singer" my brother says and Jake and I give him the dirtiest looks ever. "Wait I'm being rude, I'm Kevin" he says to Matt and Steve. "I'm Stephen her brother" Steve says shaking Kevin's hand. "I'm Matt her boyfriend" Matt says shaking Kevin's hand. "How far along are you?" Kevin ask me. "Six months" I say and I see Jake flinch. "I'm gunna go get ready when your done talking take them out front" Jake says running towards a room.

We talk to Kevin for awhile longer then we go out front into the crowd. We wait for them to come out and a bunch of girls are yelling for Jake. Kevin and the rest of the band come out screaming at the crowd. "IT'S MILLER TIME" Kevin yells and Jake comes running out. Girls squeal in my ears and my put my ear plugs back in. Jake begins singing his first song Collide. He's singing directly to me. Matt is talking to some kid beside us. I blush and wave at him. He finishes that song and the beat of My Couch plays. "What lucky girl is going to kick it on my couch tonight" jake ask the crowd and girls jump and scream. Jake runs up and down the stage and stops in front of me. I shake my head no repeatedly but he doesn't listen he grabs my hand and helps me on stage. "Shhh guys quiet down" he says pointing at my stomach the crowd 'awhhs' "This is my friend Stephanie I haven't seen her in a long time and she came out to my show so she's kicking it on my couch tonight" he says and takes me on the couch. He begins singing and touches my stomach. Just as the song finishes he puts down his mic and helps me off the stage. Before I get down he bends down to my stomach and kisses it and whispers something to my stomach. He also slips a note into my pocket. I get down off stage and can't help but smile. "What did he put in your pocket?" Matt ask. "A note but I'm not reading it here" I say. "Read it" Steve says. I pull out the note that's folded so nicely. On the front it says 'Stephanie Lee' I continue unfolding the paper. Inside it says

'Stephanie, I am so happy to see you. I'm just confused a little. Is Brayden Matt's baby? I didn't mean to run off like I did earlier but when you said you were six months along and we broke up five months ago I connected two and two. Brayden is my son isn't he? Can you call me or just you and I hangout sometime to talk things through? I hope you liked being pulled on the stage during and yes I planned it all out to happen. Did you hear what I whispered to your stomach? Well I said, Daddy love Brayden forever and Daddy will forever love your mommy.

I told the letter back up and go walking around back stage. Jake was sitting in a chair talking to Kevin. I feel the tears come out of my eyes as I run to Jake and hug him. "I read your note" I sobbed into his shoulder. "So is my guess right?" He ask wiping my tears. "Yes it is Jake" I say and he hugs me and sits me on his lap. "I know we can't be together but I want to be in your life and in Brayden's" he says rubbing my stomach. "What's going on here" Kevin ask as him Matt and Steve walk to us. "Kevin, Meet my baby Brayden" Jake says tapping my stomach. I smile and get down off Jakes lap and stand by Matt and mouth 'I love you' and he mouths he loves me. "We're gunna get going nice seeing you again" Stephen says to Jake. "Bye Stephanie" Kevin says making faces at me. "Just because your my celebrity crush doesn't mean you can mess with me. But bye Kevin" I say blushing. "Bye Stephanie, can we keep in touch about the baby?" Jake says hugging me. "Yeah we can" I say grabbing Matt's hand and walking out to the car. Today's been interesting.
