Cole Next day-
I laze around the GE Academy with a book in my hand. "Dude, did you hear?" I listen to the students in the halls chattering as they pass by.
"Yeah, but it's so sudden. After class I am so going into town to check her out. I hope she's as cool and powerful as everybody says."
"You know she is, nobody can beat Zoe Vain." I flinch at that name and sit up.
I grab those boys arms and yank them to me. "Are you saying she's in town? Now?" I demand an answer with the force of my glaring.
The boys nod, there stupid bodies shaking. I don't think, I run. I leave the Academy and I run all the way to town. I run the 10 miles there and I don't think I could've made myself stop. Once there I see that the streets are overly crowed. I walk down the sidewalks where camera men and paparazzi are. I push past people with extra force and they stumble away. Soon I am able to see the inside of a restaurant through the window. There I see her.
Zoe turns her gaze to the intensity of my hate. She goes to Grace, her partner and I clench my fist. Grace turns her head around and flinches at the sight of me. She stands up, the look of stricken fear engraved on her face. I switch my gaze between Zoe and Grace and mouth. "I'm coming for you."
