My heart rate accelerated, my chest rapidly rising and falling with every breath. He had me wrapped around his finger, and he knew it.
I pushed his chest away from me, causing him to fall backwards onto his ass. I stood up quickly and backed away from him. And all he did was laugh. "Aw, come on (y/n), don't be like that."
He stood up and began walking towards me. "Stop," I pleaded. He didn't. I felt the anger rise in my bloodstream. My eyes turned black, my claws returned. "Stop!" I screamed, my voice echoing off every wall. He finally stopped, looking somewhat surprised. "I don't know what you're doing, or why you're taking an interest to me, or what kind of mind tricks you're playing on me, but stop it. I mean it."
He put his hands up as if he were surrendering. "Alright, I'll stop. I am deeply sorry to have been an inconvenience to you." He started walking away. "Don't be afraid to call out if you need me. It's been a pleasure, (y/n)." And then he was gone, again.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. I had gone back to my normal self. Well, as normal as I could be. His voice still echoed in my head. 'More specifically when you like someone,' 'Well maybe you should try.' Did I really like him? I barely know him. He was a mystery, that Dark.

Day had turned to night, the rain had lightened. I decided to go out, I've been stuck in here for too long and after today, I need fresh air.As I closed the warehouse doors, I took in the sweet smell of rain. I had always loved the rain. The street lamps illuminated the puddles on the ground. Shops had their signs illuminated by soft, yellow and orange lights.
I headed for the pub down the street, needing a drink after everything that's happened. "What can I get ya, lass?" the bartender asked me as I sat at the bar. "Bloody Mary."
He fixed me a drink, five as a matter of fact. Being a demon, I had a high tolerance for alcohol. The pub was becoming too loud for me and too many drunken assholes were trying to pick me up. I decided to head back to the warehouse.
I took back alleys all the way back. As I reached the warehouse, someone turned me around and pinned me against the wall, their arm up against my neck.
"What the fuck?! Who are you?" I screamed at the man. Before he even had a chance to answer, I kneed him in the stomach. He lost his grip on me as he doubled over, and I took that as an opportunity to pin him to the ground.
"Who. Are. You?" I asked again, pinning his arms to his sides. "What are you doing with Dark?" he asked with a thick Irish accent. "What?" He kicked me off of him and pinned my arms over my head. I noticed one of his eyes was completely green with his iris blue, while his other was completely black.
"What's your business with Dark?" he asked again. "What's it to you?" I asked. He took both my wrists in one hand while the other took out a knife. Although this knife was no regular knife, it was one specifically made for killing demons. He held it to my throat.
"I'm gonna ask one more time; what are you doing with Dark?" "And I'll ask again; what's it to you?" He slowly dragged the tip of the blade across my chest. It burned and stung horrifically, black blood spilling out. I screamed in pain.
"That's enough, Anti." I heard Dark say. I heard his feet crinkle in the leaves as he got closer. "What are you doing with her?" The man named Anti asked. "That," Dark picked up Anti by the hood of his sweatshirt, his feet dangling off the ground, "is none of your business. If I see you near her again I'll kill you with that knife myself. Understood?" He hesitated, but Anti agreed, and disappeared shortly after.
I propped myself up on my elbows, Dark came over and helped me sit up. "You okay?" he asked. "I guess. It just hurts." "You're bleeding pretty bad. Let's get you inside and clean you up."
Dark had picked me up off the ground and carried me to the door of the warehouse. "I'm fine enough to walk, ya know." "I don't give a shit. And besides, you aren't really complaining about this, are you now, (y/n)?" He had a point. I didn't mind it at all. I felt a small blush form on my cheeks, but that only led me to think, What is this guy doing to me?
