I checked my face in the mirror and my clothes.

"I want to make it up to you."

His voice echoes through my head.

I go downstairs to get a snack.

I open the fridge, nothing.

"Ugh" I groan.

There's a sticky note on the fridge written by my mom.

I'm at the grocery store, I hope that you and Ethan make it up.

I smile at it and just took cereal of the counter.

-2:30 pm-

after having breakfast I just watched some YouTube video's to kill the time.

"pff" I sigh as I look on the clock and see the time.

I hear the front door getting closed so I went back downstairs to see who it

"hey honey, could you get the last bag out of the car please?" she places the two heavy bags on the kitchen counter and sighs.

"sure" I put my flip flops on and go outside.

"Mae hurry up, ice cream is in that bag" I hear my mom yell.

"I'm coming" I yell back.

"hey mom, do have plans today?" I ask her as I eat the ice cream.

"hm, no...not really. why?"

"I'm bored and well, it's been a long time since we hang out together. you remember, daughter and mother" I smile.

"we can go to the flower shop and buy new flowers for the garden." she smiles

"sure" I nod.

I put an old sweatshirt and old jeans on.

"let's go" she took the car keys of the counter.

- at the store -

"what about these flowers?" I point at orchids.

"those are nice, put them in the chart." she turns the chart to me so I can put them in it.

we walk around and buy some more.

"I think we have enough" my mom asks me as we walk to the cash desk.

she pays and we leave the store.

- back at home -

"mom where should I put these ones?" I look over to my mom as I put some gloves on.

"over there" she points to the hedge.

I do what she says and give them a bit water.

-5 pm-

after planting a few my mom decides to make dinner.

as she did that I went upstairs with my dirty clothes, took them off and showered.
