I concentrate on the ticking sound of the clock in the classroom.

55..54..53..

the last minute till schools out.

I put my books in my bag and place it on my lap.

"calm down, you make me more nervous than you are" Sarah looks at me and chuckles, she then looks back at her notebook and writes something down.

"sorry, i can't help it. today me and Ethan are gonna video chat for the last time till we finally see each other" I start moving my legs up and down.

*tring*

the school bell rings. I left the classroom so fast, I even forgot to say bye to Sarah.

I walk back and wave at her, she shakes her head and smiles.

"hey mom, how was your day? can't talk right now. love you" I rush through my words as I talk to my mom and go upstairs.

I open my laptop and see Ethan's face.

"wait....i never accepted your call why are you already here?"

"your mom just talked to me" he chuckles.

"she did what?!" I kinda freak out.

"it's fine, she's really nice" he smiles at me.

"oh then it's alright" I sigh and let down my bag on the ground.

"so..." I smile at him.

"so..." He repeated.

"did she say anything else? I just want to know if she showed you pictures of me being younger orrr" I lean my head on both of my hands.

"no we actually had a nice talk, about you mostly and about what I planned this weekend" his smile turned into an evil one.

"ah c'mon, now she knows but I don't?" I throw my hands in this air.

"yup, deal with it" he smirks.

I roll my eyes at him and smile.

"I need to pack my bag. I think I'm gonna do that tonight" I look around my room and see the hot mess that takes place.

"do that, and don't miss your flight." he blows me a kiss

"I love you Ethan, you're so precious" I giggle.

"I love you more Mae, you're so cute. can we hug?" he smiles without teeth.

"how?" I start to laugh.

"Just hug your laptop" he says simply.

"Alright" I still laugh and bring my laptop into my chest.

He sighs, "finally the distance will be broken."
