countdown: 3 days

I'm so happy Ethan and I talk to each other now.
He told me he planned the few days I'm in California. I'm very excited to finally meet him, it's been almost a year since we first talked. You know how it is to celebrate Christmas through a webcam? it's really apart haha. My mom was worried about me going to LA being 16 years old but I eventually convinced her. Only 3 days left. Have I mentioned that I'm really excited yet?

I close my laptop and grab my bag.
I take an apple from the fruit bowl and walk to the front door.
I walk to the bus sign and wait.

after a few minutes it arrived.
I walk through the bus and eventually see Sarah.

"hey Sarah" I sit down next to her.

"what's up?" she takes one of her earbuds out.

"nothing much" I smile, maybe a little suspicious?

"I can see some-"

"I'm going to LA this weekend" I blurt.

"wait, what?" she takes out the other earbud.

"and you didn't care to tell me earlier?" she seemed a bit upset.

"It wasn't sure yet because my mom was a bit tough" I look down at my feet.

"but the reason why I'm leaving is probably more of a surprise" I smile again.

"hm" she murmurs.

"I'm gonna meet Ethan" I said quietly.

"what?!" she yelled so hard everyone on the bus could here it.

"shh" I hushed

"I'm so happy for you" she whispers and hugs me.

"I promise you I'll bring you something ok?" I tried to make her forget about not telling her earlier.

"sure" she smiles.

I smile at her an then look outside through the window of the bus.
My phone buzzed so I looked down and see a text message.

Ethan:
I can't wait to hold you into my arms

I blush and look at Sarah to see if she saw it.
I look down at my phone again and text him back.

Me:
neither can I ❤️
