Chapter One: Friends

CHAPTER ONE: FRIENDS

Emily's POV

As my first day of school came, my nerves and emotions were all mixed up. I didn't really meet anyone interesting, but I surely did glance my eye at some people.

I kept texting my friends and telling them how much missed them. My teachers in the other hand, we're very nice, something good about my day.

My cousin told if I wanted to go over to his house after school, to meet some of his friends. I dint want to use him as a friend attractor. Like if his friends had to become my friends automatically. I agreed anyways, to go.

** At Alex's (Emily's cousin) House **

Emily's POV

As soon as I walked in, I saw Alex, Bryan (my other cousin), Jordan (my brother), this guy who later I found out his name was Ashton, and some girls I saw at school who seemed very nice.

I said hi to everyone and Ashton... Well, when his deep hazelnut eyes eyes met my dark chocolate ones I blushed a bit, and I really don't know why. And when he said hi, I melted at the stop, a bolt of electricity shocked my whole body. I know this feeling, it is the same feeling I had when I saw this other guy I very much liked about 2 years ago.

No, no, no. This can't happen to me again. I can't start liking anyone again because this last crush it ended up horrible, my heart twisted up and my feelings shattered.. I've been trying get over him, and I think it's working. Oh we'll... But now I have to make sure that I can only fall for someone who is nice, gentle, and doesn't play with my heart. A guy who cares about me can have me back, I thought to myself. Let's see what he's like, I told myself.
