Chapter Seven: The City

CHAPTER SEVEN: THE CITY

Emily's POV

"WOW!" I say as I look up to the Empire State building.

"I knew you would like it, now lets go up there" Alex says as he pulls Chloe and me into the building to pay for out tickets.

"Im speechless" those are the only words I can utter out of my mouth, this city is really what they say, marvalous.

"I am already loving NYC!" Chloe adds to our admiration.

"Everything looks so small, but the city is huge and beautiful! and ohh the Statue of Liberty is right over there." I say before feeling a pair of hands covering my eyes.

They are strong but still the softest thing I have ever felt. I turn around and find the least expected person I would imagine seen. Ashton. I put my hands on his back and give him the biggest bear hug ever! actually he was the one that gave me the bear hug, how could i forget, he almost crush my ribcage!

I still love him.

At least I thought that before I saw who was behind him, that same girl he was flirting with before going on our first date and forgiving him. I know I shouldnt have trusted him. I should have trusted my cousins about what they said he was trouble. Now all i have left to do is...

"Emily this isnt what it looks like! Look that is Ashley's boyfriend over there, i am just showing her around since she is also new and all. Now you understand!" he explained.

He apparently saw the disbelieve in my face and kept saying' "You know i wouldnt do anything like that Em, please believe me, the proof is right there!"

"Ok, it just seemed like something else" i responded

"It isnt" and with that he pressed his lips on mine for about a second before Alex interrupted, well he didnt interupt us but he's scream did.

"Chloe st-stop! Chloe I a-am warning y-you!" He said between fits of laughter mixed with 'terrification'. Dont judge I created that word right now.

It looks like Chloe was tickling Alex because he tried to push her off the Empire State Building, which is nearly impossible because first of all Chloe is not and will never be afraid of heights and second, that railing is covered with a steel fence.

"What are you doing to him?!" I blurted se-mi laughing too.

"He tried to murder me while you two were having your little chit chat, so I had to defend myself. And the first thing I tried worked, tickling him!" She said

"Arent you-?" i tried to say before Chloe came over and shut my mouth with her hand.

"I. cant. breathe!" i say

"Ohhh, so you are ticklish???" Alex says before attacking my best friend in tickles. Oh gosh!

"Can you control your 5-year-old friend and cousin here?" Ashton says because apparently I forgot he was here, that is happening to me often.

When Ashton says that Chloe and Alex turn to us and suddenly have a smirk on their faces. "What?" i question

"Oh nothing, you two just look so cute together" Chloe spills

I feel my cheeks burning but ease a little bit when I glance over at Ashton which he us blushing too. I guess I did over react a little tiny bit when I saw Ashton with Ashley. He was right there was another guy there holding hands with Ashley. Can I be that blind?un though

The day passed by really quick, as Ashton joined us in our little 'city tour' Alex was giving me. It was really fun though, I got to see places I had never seen before like Chinatown, Little Italy,the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Smithsonian Museum.

Right now we are in Time Square.

"Alex, I have to thank you again, everything today has been beautifull!" I say still amazed

"No problem little cousin, and I saved the best for last, Time Square!" Alex says

"I see... Uhh, can we got there?" Chloe says pointing at the M & M's store.

"I want more!" I whine to Ashton as we are getting a bag filled with M & M's in the colorful column slots.

"I think that is enough for tonight, you are going to get a sugar high" Ashton reprimands like a father. But it's true I nearly got 8 pounds of the chocolate. I can be a fatty sometimes.

"A responsible 17-year-old junior like me,wouldn't dare to get in any type of high!" I bark back mockingly.

"If you say so love, let's go pay now goldilocks" he mocks back.

After we leave that amazing chocolate heaven they call a store, we go to Forever 21! OMG it has 3 floors and I think I am going crazy.

"Emily calm down the clothes aren't going to run away from you" Alex whispers/screams at me.

"Oh look at that crop top, must have!" Chloe, a.k.a. fashion queen blurts. When's he says something is a 'must have', it means that if you don't get it like right now, you are hurting her feelings. She is the most demanding person I know, but at the same time her feeling are so sensible,that just one word can hurt her. And for your information you never want to see her hurt, she looks like a puppy lost in the worst neighborhood at night.

"I'm going" I say. I am not much of "fashionista" myself, I usually let Chloe do the shopping. Don't get me wring I love clothes but definitely not shopping.

Finally I do get the crop top, and like $50 more on Chloe's 'must haves'. Oh her. I hope she never changes though.

When we arrive home, which is not far away front the city, about 30 minutes. Ashton opens the car door for me and we go into my house accompanied my Chloe and Alex.

We decided to order some pizza and watch a movie. We decided to watch "Grown Ups 2" which had to be one of my all time favorite movies.

After the movies Alex left and Chloe went up to my bedroom to sleep, leaving me and Ashton alone.

"Thank you again Ashton for joining us today. It was really fun" I thank again

"I'd do anything to spend some time with my girl" he says

Did he just call me his girl? Am I his? Should I be happy? Of course you should, my inner self tell me. I feel my cheeks burning again and you know what that means, blushing time... I have to stop blushing its bad, but then again I can't control that.

"Em, I'll leave you to sleep, and I will see at school, ok?" He said

"Yeah, goodnight babe" i replied hugging him and saying bye to him
