It was around 9pm the next day. Marissa and I were getting ready for the Aerosmith concert.
My heart was pounding a mile a minute as I was finishing my makeup.
I took a step back, looking in my full length mirror.
I was wearing a red dress, with black fishnets, and black zip up ankle heels, and red lipstick to pull it altogether.

Marissa whistled as she finished zipping up her black knee high boots.
"Look at you, Marley!! Tonight's gonna be bomb, I can already tell."
I winked, laughing. "Lets get moving."
~~~
Marissa and I pulled into the parking lot of the venue about 30 minutes later.
We walked up to the door, where Marissa's brother was waiting for us.
"Hey big bro!" Marissa greeted him.
I smiled at her brother as he hugged me gently.
"Hey Marley, you excited??!" He asked.
"I'm bursting at the seams, honey." I replied.
He motioned for us to follow him as we walked inside the venue.
The lights were dimmed, and I couldn't hear my own thoughts over the audience screaming and cheering.
Marissa's brother, Jake, led us backstage, just as the band were taking the stage.
Marissa and I stopped where the stage ended, watching.
My heart was pounding as Steven started into Sweet Emotion.
To calm my nerves, I pulled out my lighter and pack of cigarettes. I lit one, and as I took a puff, and exhaled, Steven and I made eye contact, and he smiled, making my heart jump.
I looked over at Marissa, who had picked up a beer, taking sips.
"Gimme one" I said, as she handed me a Heineken.
I chugged it down in like a minute to loosen up.
I smiled to myself. This concert couldn't be over fast enough.
~~
Marissa's brother was throwing the after party at his house in upper LA. It was around midnight when Marissa and I arrived, and we were both tipsy from the concert.
We walked up to the house, opening the door and walking inside.
We were met by Jake, who was already drunk.
"Hey my girrrrrls" he slurred.
I laughed in response, glancing around.
As Marissa walked off with Jake to meet people, I made my way into the dimly lit living room, snatching another beer as I went.
I cracked it open, taking a sip as I sat down on the black leather couch. I pulled another cigarette, lighting it up.
"You know, pretty ladies shouldn't smoke.It's bad for you." A voice said next to me.
I exhaled the smoke, as I turned to meet the brown eyes of Steven Tyler.
I smirked.
"Pretty ladies do what they want." I said, taking another gulp of beer and another drag of my cigarette.
Steven smiled, sipping his beer. His pupils were smaller.
"What's your name, sugar?"
My heart skipped. "Raquelle, but everyone calls me Marley."
"Well Marley, what did you think of the show?" Steven asked me, his eyes roaming my body, then stopping at my eyes.
"I thought it was bitchin. You're always fucking awesome."
"You a fan?"
I winked. "Just a little.."
Steven smiled in approval, as he pulled out a pill, popping it.
He noticed me watching him, and smirked.
"Want one? It takes the edge off." He said.
I held out my hand, accepting as he placed it in my palm, his fingers touching mine.
I popped it, and washed it down with my beer.
The effects hit me. I felt light and airy, weightless. The high was exhilarating, and I don't know when or where, but eventually I fell asleep.
