Steven quickly lead me to the kitchen, where we each grabbed a remaining knife.
I was still trying to control my breathing. Steven placed his hand on the small of my back, and quickly lead me to our bedroom.
Steven opened the closet door, pushing me in. He kissed me quickly, holding me tightly.
"Stay in here."
He closed me in and through the little slits I could see him positioning himself behind the bed.
My heart was racing. I really hoped the other guys were okay.
Just then, I heard a crash and bang.
My heart almost stopped. I hoped they were okay. Truly.
Just then the bedroom door flew open.
The source of my nightmares was standing right in my view.
I remained quiet as John entered more into the room.
"Marley.." He started, in that gruff voice.
"I know you're in here.." I could see him making his way towards the very door I was hiding behind.
I braced myself, tightening my grip on the knife. I fought him once, I think I could do it again.
The closet door swung open then. I screamed.
"There you are!!" He yelled.
I heard pounding on the bedroom door that he had closed and locked.
"Marley!" I knew it was Joe's voice.
John grabbed me by my hair, pulling me out of the closet into the room.
I swung the knife, splitting his arm.
"Goddamnit.." He muttered. I could see the blood spilling.
His arm coiled around my neck, tightening. I moved and flailed, fighting for my life.
Suddenly, John let out a wail. I managed to swing out of his grip, as I noticed Steven behind him, where he had just plunged the knife into John's back.
John regained his balance, the pain written on his face.
He pulled out a gun, aiming it at me.
I heard the bang of the bullet, and I felt pain as my back hit a wall, and I saw white for a second.

My vision refocused, and the scene that was laid out in front of me made my stomach drop.
John was moaning, laid out in a decent puddle of blood.
Steven lay beside him, bleeding from his stomach, unconscious. Joe and the rest of the band, minus Joey, who was calling an ambulance, were kneeling beside him.
I shakily stood up, tears pouring down my face, as I kneeled down next to Steven.
"STEVEN, STEVEN!" I was screaming, but he wasn't answering or moving.
My vision was blurry with tears as I met Joe's eyes.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!!!" I exclaimed.
Joe sighed, clearly grief-stricken and scared.
"He jumped in front of a bullet for you."
I started sobbing, caressing Steven's face gently. I couldn't believe this.
"STEVEN, I love you..I love you." I repeated this over and over until the paramedics ambled in, and placed him on a stretcher. As I leaned against Joe, and followed them out to go to the hospital, the worst prospect was filling my brain.
God, he couldn't be dead. He just can't be.
