Chapter 12

Maddies POV

When I turned around I was shocked. I was expecting to see Zayn and Perrie standing there. But I just saw  two complete strangers.

"Do I know you guys?", I asked. "Well technically no, but I have heard about you. And we were wondering if we could get to know you alittle bit better.", they said with creepy smiles on there faces. I could already tell by the way they were looking at me that they were bad people.

"And how do you know about?", I curiously asked. "Oh erm well you see there's this thing called the television and we saw you on the news.", they said in a nervous tone."And why or what was I doing on the news?", I asked, this time much more curious than before. "Well you were-", the lady was cut off by Zach.

"Oh yeah! I was going to as you that. I saw you on a gossip channel with that dude from some band and his girlfriend who is in another band."  "And how do I not know about this!", i asked surprised.

"I was going to tell you but I forgot. You do know that they are pretty quite famous! Especially here in England and in America aswell. I'm pretty sure half the town has seen it already.", he said exciditly. "So that's how you people know me. Well if you guys are interested in adopting me that, lets just say that this guy right here has already adopted me.", I said happily pointing to Zach.

He just stood there in shock trying to comprehend what was going on. I turned around and mouthed 'just go with it'. "Yes that's right! I did adopt her. She is just a little bundle of joy! Yes she is!", he said pinching my cheecks. "Oh well that's to bad. You see we were thinking about adopting you, but I guess were to late.", she said faking the sadness in her voice.

"Oh well maybe next time. Now if you could just make your way towards the door which is right in front of you.", I said with a smile plastered on my face. They just gasped and gave me a disgusted face while heading out the door.

"Ok so anyway daughter as I was saying I have to go.", he said already going out the door. I just followed him to the end of the block. "You can stop walking with me. I'm fine walking alone. But I will see you tommorow or I will come an pick you up.", he said. "Okay, be safe.", I informed him while hugging him.

"I think that's enough hugging. He should probably get back to work or he will be late.", said... Zayn? Wait what?! When I turned around it was sure enough the two Zayn and Perrie watching us. Perrie seemed to be in awe and Zayn seemed to just be. . .angry?

"I should go.", said Zach in a shaky voice. "See you tommorow, love you", he said kissing my cheeck. "Alright love you too.", I said back to him. "What are you guys doing here?", I asked obviously surprised. "Well me and Perrie wanted to come by and see you and Abby, and maybe take you guys out for some lunch or something.", said Zayn.

Zayn had his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "By the who was that boy? Was he your boyfriend?", Perrie said with excitment in her voice. Why would she be excited. "Yeah, who was that boy Maddie?", asked Zayn who seemed slightly annoyed.

"That was Zach. He has been my best friend since after the accident with my parents happened.", I said while walking back to the orphange. The two right next to me. "How old is he? Where does he work if I may ask?", asked Zayn. "Zach is sixteen and he works at a bakery that is thirty minutes from here. You know he is like my big brother.",  I explained to them.

"Why did he tell you that he loves you?", asked Zayn with a serious look on his face. "Because, isn't that what brothers and sisters say to each other?", I said with a small smile on my face. He let out a huff and started talking. "So anyway, did you still want to go to out for dinner?", he asked. "I have an even better idea!", I said with excitment.

"And what may that be?", asked Perrie. "Well I was thinking that maybe we all could go to your guys' flat and I could maybe cook something not you guys since you have done alot for me even though I've known you for like two days already.", I explained to them while heading through the doors of the orphanage. I was greeted by hearing the couples make small talk with the other girls. I made my way to Abby and I's room with Zayn and Parrie behind me. The rest of the girls didn't even notice me walking in as usual seeming that they were always busy with what goes on in there lives. I was quite glad they didn't notice me since I don't like having all the attention towards me.

"Oh I forgot to tell you guys. Were going to be having couples come by and see if they would want to adopt any of us. But i'm really intrested  in getting to know people right now so we can go and I'll get Abby.", I explained to the two. As I was making my way out the door of the room, I felt a light tug on my wrist. I turned around and noticed Zayn holding on to my sleeve.

"What is it?", I asked slightly confused by his gesture. "We can always come back another time seeming that people might want to see you the both of you.", explained Zayn. "Trust me Zayn no one is going to want to adopt me. I'm perfectly fine being here with Abby here in the orphanage.", I explained to him. "I also agree with Zayn, I think you should just stay here and we leave. There's always next time.", said Perrie. "No, I'm going with you guys to your flat.", I said to them defending my opinion. "Whatever, I'm not going you argue with you. Just hurry up, get Abby and get ready. Perrie and I will be waiting by the door.", said Zayn. I nodded my head in response.

As I make my way down the stair case, I could hear Abby talking with a couple and getting to know them. The couple seemed to be young. Maybe in there late twenties early thirties. Thy also seemed pretty cool aswell. The man had flippy hair Kellin Quinn and a couple of tattoos which were pretty sick. The girl seemed pregnant and had a couple of tattoos aswell as here spouse. Why would they want adopt if the lady was pregnant. But then again I could be wrong. It could just be fat which I highly doubt it is.

"Sorry to interrupt. But my friend here has to go and run an erren and it might take a couple of hours.", I said to the couple. "Oh well it was nice meeting you Abby hopefully we will see you soon.", said the lady with a smile plastered on her face. "You too", said Abby in response.

"Go get ready. Zayn and Perrie are here and we are going to go eat at their flat", I explained. The just nodded and took off up the stairs.

By the time Abby came down the stair case she was all ready and set to go. Then we headed off.
