Falling For My Best Friend (Modern! Kiba Short Story)

**Regular P.O.V.**

Katsumi went around the corner to where Kiba and Tamaki were having lunch.

She turned the corner and called out to her best friend.

"Hey Kiba--Oh!!"

She stopped for a single moment to take in the sight in front of her.

Here was her best friend with his girlfriend Tamaki sitting on his lap with a leg on either side of him. He was in a deep, passionate kiss with her. But what was most disturbing to Katsumi was that Tamaki had a hand in between Kiba's legs, rubbing his crotch.

Katsumi immediately turned around and ran back to the school doors. She could feel tears beginning to come but she managed to hold them back.

"Katsumi!! Wait!!"

She could hear Kiba's voice calling out to her. She didn't care. She just kept running.

She went inside the school building and ran down the hall to her class; science with Orochimaru.

She leaned against the wall outside the door.

Footsteps were coming down the hall.

"Katsumi, are you okay?!"

Shiz. It was Kiba.

"Shouldn't you be with Tamaki?" Katsumi asked.

"Sorry you had to see that. I was going to push her off anyway." He said taking a seat beside his best friend.

"Kiba, I don't care if you want to do 'it' with your girlfriend, just don't do it at school, okay?!" Katsumi yelled at the boy seated next to her as she lifted herself from her place and walked into the classroom.

"Kat, I said I was sorry!"

"Whatever!"

**Timeskip**

It was now the end of the day. Katsumi had sat wordlessly next to Kiba in all 3 of their afternoon classes.

"Have a good spring break class!!" Kurenai shouted to her last class of the day.

Katsumi was headed to her car now when she heard a familiar voice call out to her.

"Kit Kat!! You weren't planning on leaving me here, were you?"

Katsumi groaned and turned to face her best friend, only to be tackled to the ground by him.

He was now sitting on her stomach with her arms pinned above her head. To anyone else, it would have looked a little more than odd. And to just their luck, Tamaki was secretly watching them.

"I said I'd give you a ride this morning Pup. Never said anything about taking you back home." Katsumi said grinning and suddenly feeling a little better.

"But you will anyway, right Kit Kat?"

"Of course Kiba. I wouldn't leave you here." She said with a smile.

"Thanks Kat." He said. He leaned down and kissed her forehead,making Katsumi blush, and got off her. Kiba held out a hand and, oblivious to her blush, helped the girl up.

They both got into Katsumi's car and drove back to her house.

"Oh, by the way, can I stay at your house over spring break? My mom won't be home from her trip till after spring break and I'm lonely. So what do ya think about having a roommate Kit?" Kiba asked with a grin.

"Uggh, you know I hate surprises. But fine you can stay. But you better not try anything Pup!" Katsumi told the grinning teen.

"Your my best friend Kat, I would never do anything to you."
