Chapter 20

D.O POV:

"Why do you hate me?" She asked. The question got me off the guard, 'Why do I hate her?' I questioned myself.

She just reminds me of someone from past. Not good past but a bad one.

"I don't hate you" I mumbled the reply and stoked her hair gently.

"Then why don't you like me?" She questioned once again.

"You just resemble someone from my past"

"A good one or a bad one?" Woah she is asking lots of questions.

"A bad one"

"Let me guess, I resemble your ex girlfriend who broke your heart?" Is she some kind of a past teller or something!?.

I stayed quiet. "So I am right!" She said happily again I stayed quiet.

She sighed, sat up and faced me "Hey Kyungsoo look at me" she said softly. I refused to look then she gently held my chin and made me look at her.

"Want to tell me?" She asked. 'Should I tell her or not?' I asked myself. 'Maybe I should because I been keeping this is my chest for a long time'.

"I was in high school when me and her started dating. She was my first in everything, my first love, my first date, my first crush and my first kiss. I loved her so much but I don't know where I went wrong....." I sighed deep. I felt Melissa holding my hand and gently rubbing circles on them with her thumb, weirdly she was comforting me.

I continued "One day I decided to surprise her by going to her house. I had a key so I sneaked up on her. Then there was an unpleasant sight before me. I saw that she and her best friend were making out on the couch, they were making out so passionately that they didn't even noticed me. I accidentally dropped the chocolate box I bought for her which made them realise that I was watching. She got up and apologised me but my heart was already broken. That's when I realised that there is no such thing as love" I ended my story and saw Melissa who had her eyes glued on me.

I let out a bitter laugh "I sound pathetic, don't I ?". Suddenly I was embraced by Melissa very tightly.

"You are not pathetic, you are strong" she whispered and buried her face in my neck. I did the same action. It was weird like few hours ago we were fighting like cat and dog but now we our in each other's embrace.

After few minutes we let go each other and I breath deeply. "In which way I resemble her?" She asked me again. 'Woah now this is getting over board'

"You just look a lot like her and you also have a similar personality like her" she nodded taking in the information.

"Enough about me! Now tell your past story!" I asked her.

"Well.... I know how it feels like you lose someone you love" she said sadly.

"Now let me guess, your ex boyfriend broke your heart?" I asked her the way she asked me.

"What? No I never had a boyfriend" she said. My mouth was hang out.

"What! Don't look at me like that! It's true I never ever had a boyfriend. I don't have interest in such thing" she said.

I nodded well it was hard to believe that she never had a boyfriend I mean she is *cough* pretty.

"So I know the pain because before coming to Korea my best friend died from cancer." She said quietly.

"Oh I am sorry"

"No need. It's that that she was my friend from my diapers days. I loved her so much along with my other best friend. It was so painful seeing her dying in front of my eyes, it felt like I was dying too." I saw tears in her eyes. I rubbed her back and whispered "it's okay".

After few minutes she wiped her tears "Sorry got emotional there" I just smiled at her with my heart shaped lips.

"Melissa?"

"Yes Kyungsoo?"

"I am sorry for troubling you all these days" I said sincerely.

"It's okay D.O but know people before judging them okay?" I nodded.

In few minutes we slept peacefully in each other embrace.

Tori POV:

I was going nuts, one hour had passed and other was no sign of Lissa. On the other hand EXO was also worried because D.O was missing too. We asked everyone but they didn't know.

I send the others home and Suho did the same. Only me, Suho and Chanyeol were there.

"Oh Lord where is she?!" I said.

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned and saw Chanyeol smiling down at me "Hey she is gonna be alright" he said softly. I smiled back.

"That is it! I am going to the CCTV room" Suho yelled and went out of the room.

"Wait I am also coming!" I Shouted and followed him. Behind me Chanyeol followed.

We waited in front of the corner evaluator that we didn't used yet.

"Why is it taking so long?!" Suho said in frustration.

"Ah hyung I think it's broken?" Chanyeol said. We noticed that the buttons were not working.

"They must be stuck in there!" I yelled.

"I will call the workers!" Suho said and immediately called them.

They came and within few minutes they fixed it. The lift started working and came down. The doors opened revealing two sleeping figures.

It was a shock to see Kyungsoo and Melissa in each other's embrace.

I stepped in the lift and shaked Melissa to get up and Chanyeol did the same with D.O.

After few seconds. hey woke up "Tori?" Lissa said in a sleepy tone.

"Yes Lissa get up we need to get you home, you must be cold? Every one was so worried about you and D.O!"

"How did you found us?"

"Long story now get up"

I helped her up and went outside the lift. I quickly passed her a jacket to wear.

We all went to our vans and head home without a word.

I know it's a boring chapter but I please support it.

I know you guys want some Chanyeol time too. I am working on it!
