Chapter Ten

"So how was your wonderful date with Eddie?" I ask Violet over breakfast the next day.

"It was AMAZING and it was sooooo ROMANTIC," Violet says with a huge smile on her face.

What is it with this girl and smiling???

"I definitely didn't take Eddie as the romantic type," I say while taking a sip of my orange juice.

"Well you only met him a couple of days ago," Violet says while taking a bite out of her muffin. 

"Yeah, that's true."

"When was your first kiss?" Violet suddenly asks.

"You don't want to know about my first kiss," I say quickly.

"Yes I do."

"No you don't."

"Was it with Drake?"

"Maybe."

"Where were you guys when you kissed?"

"You don't want to know."

"Yes I do."

"Remember when you and your sisters tied me and my friends up and locked us in a room?"

"Yes."

"It was then."

"Wow, so romantic," Violet says sarcastically.

"Why are we even talking about this??" I ask quickly.

"Because I just had my first kiss with Eddie yesterday!"

"You had your first kiss with Eddie?!"

"Yep!"

"And how old are you??"

"I'm nineteen."

"And you JUST had your first kiss?!"

"Well when you're to busy being evil you don't really have time for..... boys."

"You know... since your sisters are gone.... you can always stop being evil... right?"

"I was born evil... it's kind of hard just to stop."

"Yeah... I guess so."

"Sarah I'm still looking for the thrones."

"Why?"

"It's my destiny."

"Violet... Laura destroyed one of the thrones. The prophecy says that you need all three thrones. What if you find the other two thrones and then the prophecy doesn't work?"

"I don't know if it's going to work or not, but I'm still going to try."

"Why???"

"Because it's all I know! Sarah all of my life I have just had my sisters. I mean I don't know where my parents are! I just had my sisters. Of course Vanessa was the oldest, so me and Ruby always followed her command. When Vanessa found out about the prophecy... she just went for it... and we followed. This is all I know! I have to try!"

"But your sisters are gone now! You can leave that old life behind and make a new one! You can focus on college, you can have a career, and you can even be Eddie's girlfriend. Don't you want that?"

"Of course I want that!"

"Then why don't you do it?!"

"Sarah didn't you read the prophecy?"

"Yes I did, but what does that have to do with anything?!"

"The prophecy said that there was a king and that king had two daughters and the two daughters had three daughters of their own. three evil, three good."

"Okay and???"

"Sarah we're cousins."

"What do you mean we're cousins??"

"Sarah the prophecy is real. I mean we both sorta look alike. We both have no Idea where are ACTUAL parents are. Me and my sisters are evil and you are good. We both can do things normal people can't... like control water. And we are the only people that can see the thrones glow when we touch them. I mean do you honestly believe this whole thing is a coincidence?!"

"Fine... if the prophecy is real... then where are my two other sisters??"

" I don't know."

"See! You don't know everything!"

"SARAH!! Do you honestly believe the prophecy is still fake?!"

"Honestly....I don't know what to believe anymore."

"Sarah we are meant to fight each other."

"You don't know that!"

"Sarah remember when I told you that I wasn't going to hurt you?"

"Yes."

"I still don't want to hurt you, but if you try to stop me from trying to find those thrones... then... I WILL have hurt you!!!"

Violet then turns around and runs out of the room. I try to follow her, but then she slams the door right in my face!!
