Because it was Sunday, I had school the next day. I was playing with Shadow when there was a knock on my door. "Come in!" Pat opened the door. "Are you hungry? I made lunch." I don't think he knows I don't eat much. I normally eat once a week. I guess it's not his fault he doesn't know. I am always wearing baggy clothes and jackets/hoodies. "No thank you." I said. "Okay. Well I can put some in the fridge or you for school tomorrow. If you want." "I'm okay Pat. I can just eat school food." I smiled at him. "Plus I need to call Mindy." 'I miss her so much.' I thought. He closed the door behind him.
I called Mindy. "Hey Liz! What's up?" "Hey Mindy! Pat got me a cat and I named her Shadow! And Jen and I went shopping and my room looks AMAZING! I wish you were here." I said. "Thats amazing! Someone almost adopted me, but then Ms. Elan told them I cause a lot of trouble. So they adopted someone else. I was so mad. Anyways, what are you up to?" She asked. I felt bad for her and I just wished she could live with us. "I'm going to sing a song. Give me a title and I will make a song cover." I told her. "Human. By Christina Perri." "Alright I will. Bye!" She said bye and I hung up.
I went straight to my desk and started listening to the song. I was really excited because I could use this to express how I felt at the orphanage. After a few hours, I finally memorized the song. It was amazing and I couldn't wait to sing it. 'This was an amazing song. Thanks Mindy!' I thought. I hope she gets to hear it once I sing and upload it. She had always told me I had an amazing voice so I was kind of nervous to put a song on my channel. I had written many songs but never sang any of them. I hope it goes well.
