Where you walk in my new room, my bed is on the wall in front of you, the desk is on the left to the door so you can see the chalkboard, and I put my wardrobe next to the chalkboard. I also ordered a rug and a few accessories to add to my room. I put up some shelves and set up my computer and singing area which is on the opposite side of the chalkboard. (Wardrobe, chalkboard, then singing area). I bought a purple rug and hung some pictures of me and Mindy. I had also started watching Netflix. It was really cool because I had put it above the chalkboard and had my mirror attached to my bedroom door.
Once I finished setting up my laptop and microphone Jen knocked on my door. "Come in." I said. "Hey Elizabeth-" I interrupted her and said, "You can call me Liz if you want." "Okay. Liz. I love your room. It's amazing." "Thank you. I love your house." I said half smiling. I was trying to be nice but it was really hard being away from Mindy for so long. "So what do you like to do for fun?" Was she really trying to make small talk? "Oh um.. I like gaming I guess. and singing. But I don't think i'm very good. Even though Mindy says I am." I really didn't like singing in front of anyone except Mindy. "Maybe you could sing for us sometime. Once you get used to being here." She looked kind of excited, but was trying to hide it. "Um, maybe. I don't really like when people hear me sing. I just need to get ready. So could you excuse me?" She said okay and left.
After Jen left my room, I went to take a shower and got into really cute clothing. "Are you ready Liz?" I heard Jen say outside my door. "Yeah, just let me put on my shoes!" I grabbed my phone and put on my shoes and we left.
