A/N: Here's a picture of what I imagine Emily to look like! Isn't she beautiful?! Wish I knew who this girl is! Anyways, next chapter, I'll see if I can find one for Maddie :)

When we get to Pete's house, a tall, gorgeous woman and a little, blonde boy talking to her were on the front porch. As our car pulls up in the drive way, she perks up, smiles big, and trots over to us, while the boy holds her hand.

She looks just like a model, with a perfect, sweet smile and kind eyes. She doesn't even seem to be wearing much makeup either; just some mascara, filled in eyebrows, and maybe a little foundation. She's tan, with carmel brown hair. Dressed in a black one piece swimsuit and some jeans, along with sandels, she easily pulls off that casual look.

Reaching Patrick's window, she grins at us, waiting for him to get out. Maddie opens the door, and I just crawl out behind her. The mystery model looks a little confused, and I guess she's trying to figure out which girl Patty adopted.

"Well, um, hello... Emily..." She trails off, switching eyes between me and Maddie. Deciding not to confuse her anymore, I smile back at her.

"Hello! Nice to meet you...?" I respond.

Maddie leans in, whispering in my ear, "Meagan, that's her name. She's Pete's girlfriend, and that boy is Pete's son Bronx."

I just nod at her, knowing that everyone heard what she said. Then again, she does have a Fall Out Boy hoodie on, and she also had access to internet when I didn't. She told me she's always had it, so she could watch interviews of them and stuff, so of course she'll know more about them than I will, because I really just know all the lyrics to they're songs, because I've never had internet.

Well, I do now, since I live with Patrick and he obsesses over youtube videos of some guy throwing apple products covered in stuffed pickachus off of a building's room. He's a weird lil' guy.

Meagan, bless her heart, looks surprised. "Oh! Wow, Emily, you're so tall! You could model," She says in a slightly dazzled voice. But I don't blame her, I'm a whopping 5'7, and Patrick himself is only 5'5.

"Thank you! I'm really not pretty enough to do modeling, though..." I giggle sheepishly with a blush on my face.

Maddie hit my arm playfully, guaranteeing me that I'm "plenty cute", as did Patrick, and Meagan shook her head. "No, sweetie, trust me -- I'm a model, and when you're older, I can see if I can get my label to sign you on... If that's something you'd want to do."

I'm not surprised at the news of her being a model, but I am at her offer. But everyone's just walking up to the house so we can get to the party, so I decide just to mull over the idea. Modeling does sound like a lot of fun, but I was also planning on writing. If I couldn't get a book published, then I had decided I'd be fine with being a journalist.

Then again, I could just be a model that gets her book published. Who knows, I'm too young to really worry about things like this too much.

As Meagan's opening up the door, I notice the little kid -- Bronx -- has been staring at me. Well, I don't notice it, but Maddie does.

"Emily," She whines, "Bronx is staring at you!"

Meagan laughs, Pete waltzing up to her side. "Yeah, he usually does that with people that interest him," Meagan tells me with a wink.

"Aw!" I cooe, crouching down to his level. He can't be older than 6, so I'm much taller than him. Even then, he still has to look up at me. His baby blue eyes look into mine, and he seems to be pretty amazed.
