I strike the ball over the net and watch as the other team fumbles to go for it. Yeah, my team wins again. I high five some of the unknown team mates and share a couple victorious smiles before getting back in the game.

This goes on the entire practice until Coach tells us to hit the showers. I hurry into the locker rooms and shower, then change back into my light blue bleached shorts, and grey and red sweater. I slip on my white knee socks and my white converse. I comb my hair and pack up my dirty clothes.

I hurry out of the locker rooms and run to Stiles and Isaac.

"Hey guys," I huff out. "Hey, are we still on for that run," I ask Stiles.

"Sorry, I can't today, I have something with Scott," he says.

Didn't we plan on doing this before the ascot thing? That's bullshit! But I'm not a high maintenance girlfriend.

"Oh, okay," I shrug and walk in the direction of Jackson.

"Hey, wait," I hear Stiles call behind me.

I turn around and muster up a small smile.

"Yeah," I ask, though my voice cracks a little because of the anger I'm holding in.

"Don't be mad okay, I know how you can get," he says.

"How I can get, what do you mean by that Stiles," I ask.

"I didn't mean anything about it, I just don't want you to be angry with me, I can tell when you're angry. The thing I have with as lot just has something to do with 'you know what'," he says.

"I don't want to be high maintenance, but you bailed on me yesterday when you said we would hang out last week," I shift, "but it's a free country, you can do what you want so don't let your girlfriend hold you back."

I start to walk off again, but he grabs my hand.

"Okay, I promise we'll hang out on Saturday, just you and me," he says.

I sigh, "okay Stiles, you better keep this promise," I say.

"I will, I promise...to keep my promise," he chuckles and pulls me into his chest.

I peck his lips and push him away.

"I'll talk to you later," I say and walk over to Jackson.

"Hey little sis," he says and hugs me.

I laugh and let go of him. I get in the front seat while he gets in the driver's seat.

"I still can't believe you're dating Stilinski," he says and shakes his head.

"Don't make me hurt you Jackson," I say sharply.

"Okay, okay, don't get aggressive on me now," he says and starts off toward the house.

As soon as we get there, I hop out of the car and run into the house straight to my room. I drop my bags and hop on the bed.

I still feel angry, but not so much anymore. I just wanted to spend time with my boyfriend, but he has other things to do apparently. Okay, I seriously need to get it together, I have never acted this way before towards him. Why now?

My phone rings and I quickly answer it, desperate for someone to talk to.

"Hello, Lena Whittemore speaking, who is calling," I ask in a formal voice.

"What's up with the greeting," asks Stiles.

"Oh, Stiles," I squeak and sit up on the bed, "I thought you were hanging out with Scott," I ask.
