I toss and turn in my bed, moaning in the sweet warmth and fluffiness of the blankets. I open my eyes and see that I'm not in my bed...I'm not in my room...I'm not in my house. I turn my head and see that Al isn't there.
I thought it was all a dream, but it wasn't.
I look up at the ceiling and will myself not to cry. I am stronger than this, so much stronger. I sit up and bring my legs up a little. My hair covers my face and I lean forward a little. The door opens, but I don't bother to look. It's obviously Al.
"hey, what's wrong," he asks.
I look up with sad eyes, "you weren't in bed, so I was worried," I say.
He has a tray of food in his hands and a rose in his mouth. I giggle at the sight.
He comes over to me and sets the food on the bedside table, then puts the rose on top of the pancakes. He turns to me and kneels down so our eyes are level. He caresses my cheek and pecks my lips.
"Don't worry about me baby," he says and stands up.
He puts the tray on the bed in front of me and then sits next to me.
"I made you breakfast," he says and wraps an arm around my waist.
He kisses my cheek and down to my neck. I giggle, not intending to though.
"You should eat, I'm thinking about taking you hiking today, only if you're a good girl," he says in my ear.
"Okay, anything for you," I say and kiss his jaw.
"That's my girl," he says and kisses my cheek softly, then stands up. "I'll be back, stay here until I get back."
He kisses me twice on the lips and once on the forehead, then leaves.
I look down at the tray of food. chocolate chip pancakes, cut strawberries, scrambled eggs, orange juice, and oatmeal with apple chunks. This is too much of an ordinary breakfast, I'd probably add chips, ketchup, or meat to it.
I sigh and eat it. When I eat all my food, I put the tray on the floor and go to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and fix my hair a little. I decide to roam the house a little and leave the room. I walk down the hall and just explore for a while. I find lots of guest rooms, two offices, about five bathrooms, a huge kitchen, a really big empty room, a cozy living room, and two dinning rooms. One dinning room has a giant table in it and the other one is smaller so only two or four people fit at the table.
I find a really big garage and look at the different cars. A fiat, a KIA forte, a jaguar, and other really fancy modern cars I didn't even know existed.
I find myself bored and go outside into the backyard. It's beautiful out here! Flowers are growing everywhere, there's a pool with a cabana on the other side of it. I go over to the cabana and lay on the overgrown bed. I sigh and try to stay happy so the sun will come out. It doesn't, all hope is lost.
"Lena," Al yells my name.
He sounds angry, maybe I should stay right here.
"Lena, I swear if you're outside," he yells, even angrier than before.
I sit up slowly and groan. I just wanted to relax and forget that I had ever been kidnapped. I get up and walk back over to the door that leads to the garage. I close the door behind me and make my way back into the house.
"Lena," he yells my name again.
I follow his voice, which leads me to the foyer. He looks so pissed off.
"Where the hell did you go? I told you to stay in the room," he says, walking over to me.
"I was bored," I shrug.
