"Do we have to make appointments for tattoos? I wasn't sure, but I can come back if now's not-"
The blonde behind the counter smiled, cutting you off.

"No, it's fine. Usually appointments are better but it's pretty dead right now." You nodded, regaining the confidence you had when you had walked into the tattoo parlor.

You were about to speak up again but your words were cut off when a faceless voice rang out. "I think I'm gonna head home,"

"Actually we have a client with us now but I can take her if you wanna head home." The blonde behind the counter said.

The guy who had appeared, own tattoos visible, shook his head. "No it's fine. I'll do it." He said, doing a not very subtle job of checking you out. You smirked to yourself, raising an eyebrow at the guy.

"Are you sure? Because-" The blonde got caught off by his friend.

"Luke. I'll do it." You watched the interaction between the two guys, laughing silently to yourself.

"Okay," The blonde one, Luke, behind the counter put down the pencil he was twirling between his fingers and walked out from behind that counter, towards the door the darker haired guy had come through. "I guess I'll head home then."

After he disappeared away from your sight, you looked at his friend who was making his way over to you. "Don't worry; I'm much better at it than he is."

"I guess I don't really have a choice." You hummed, leaning back against the counter as he made his way around it.

He grinned, wordlessly nodding and pulling out a sheet of paper. "You need to fill this out. And also I need to see some ID." You nodded, handing him your divers licence. This wasn't your first tattoo, you knew how it worked.

"So Y/N," The guy uttered while you filled out the form. "My names Calum by the way. I like to be on a first name basis with all my clients. Do you know what you want?"
You nodded, reaching into the back pocket of you jeans to pull out the folded piece of paper.

You had written it yourself, knowing what font you wanted and had read over it a million times to make sure there were no spelling mistakes.

"Dive into the dark." He read aloud.
You nodded, putting down your pen and handing him the now filled out waiver. "Does it mean anything special to you?" The guy, Calum, asked as he took the waiver from you.

"I just like the way it sounds." You shrugged.

"That's fair." He nodded. "Okay, so you pay once it's done, it shouldn't take too long, and since you're all done with this," He said, putting the form aside and side stepping out from behind the counter. "You can follow me."
