-Dead Lover-

Did you ever think you'd get this far
Almost a year after you were hit by that car
You've still visited me every night
A shadow creepily standing in the background light

You asked me who was there
Causing my heart to tear
But you told me to not tell anyone
As that would ruin the "fun"

Your ghost looks exactly the same
As you did back when a time I can't name
It was just a time where you were alive
You still have the face that you did when you were five

But your hair is now red
Like it was when you were announced dead
And your skin is a deathly white
It's quite a rather scary sight

But your voice is warm and cozy
It covers up when you're being nosy
And every night when you come to me
Your laughter reminds me of how it could be

Those days when you were solid form
Those nights we spent cuddling in your dorm
Those lunches we spent laughing at each other
Those mornings you reminded me that you were my lover

Can't be passed up for anything
The memories stay and sing
The words that replay again and again
It's taught me that you were the best of all men
