Chains straps and wires secure me. As I march on ward towards a cause I myself do not endorse. I am a modern day solider. A warrior of a society that is long past over due. I strive toward the buildings I'm tasked to occupy with or without air support. With or without any support. We press on to finish a mission we ourselves would rather abandon. Why do we do it? Honor, education, is it just life. No we do it because if we didnt we'd be singled out and put down like dogs so we get on the next tram to the next battle ground. Keep fighting keep moving. Don't stop for anything weather your brother in arms falls or the mission you face is impossible. Even if you barley make it out alive with your percentage in tact or not. You keep going. You will keep going for the next 4 years at the least. And if you ever want to avoid the battle field after that you'll be needing to enlist for at least another 4 years after that for extra education. We're told to keep our heads down do our jobs and don't ask for help as much as possible. Make it through the days mission so you can go home and start it all over again. Where is your compassion Modern solider. You have your tools turn the tides. This is our war. Our world. Change it.
