When I was a boy all the kids would say just do what you have to, to get by keep getting 70s in class keep doing what ever you could to pass and not fail
but don't bail on your friends neither, I always thought it was just do what you got to do to make it out alive. When really in this world it's all about doing what you can to thrive. So my question isn't how am I gonna thrive like most. No my question is how am I gonna learn to thrive when I was only ever taught how to survive? Cuz when your living in a world that's full of thriving how in the hell am I supposed to be surviving? Well I suppose theres always lying and disguising. But that's not what I was hoping. Then again I guess this world never was what I was hoping for. How in the hell are you gonna tell kids to try your best to pass the test when you yourself go and sit at a lonely desk just waiting till you can go home back to what you were told was to be thriving? Take a look around as yourself are you surviving? Or thriving? And if the answer is not so clear then look back in that mirror and ask why am I forcing this on my kids?
