My generation is obsessed with drugs and lies
And what's in between our thighs
My generation fears pain and fear itself so much that we look for any and every way out of the pain caused by our own actions. What people don't understand is that pain is Necessary to grow stronger. Without fear and pain you will never be able to act under pressure and live a serious life. Pain and sadness build character. They are a necessary part of building the human character. So many people I know use weed and sex to take the edge off of their bad decisions often the one we love is in the wrong bed and instead of getting the courage to go take them back we smoke a bowl and "relax". Then fall into bed with someone else entirely. We've forsaken our emotions for pleasure. I hope we wake up soon.
