Hi everyone! I realized that I haven't been posting any 'real' art lately, since quite a number of the previous chapters are mainly pencil sketches with minimal color.
To make up for it, here's a more detailed, fully colored artwork.

I'm sure most of you have played, or maybe even heard of this game called 'Plants vs Zombies'.
If you haven't, I highly recommend it, as it is an AWESOME game to kill time with, not to mention that some of the plants are downright adorable.(And no, I definitely wasn't sponsored to say this, haha.)
So for this contest hosted by none other than -TheOtakuNerd-, we were required to humanized an attacking plant from the game, and I chose TANGLE KELP from the first PvZ.

Using mixed media consisting of watercolors, color pencils, and digital art, I re-imagined the plant as sort of a 'sea-like creature'? It's only planted in the pool or in water, so I thought it would be fitting.
As for naming the character, I'll probably just call her Laminaria. Why that name? Search it up. ;)
