  *Kellin's POV*

~Imagine living like a king someda...~

I pressed the snooze button on my phone.
"Ughhhh" I groaned loudly. (Why am I getting up at 12 AM again? Oh yeah I have a flight to catch.)
I didn't want to get up but I thought about seeing Vic and that was enough motivation to force myself up. I got dressed and when I looked in the mirror I saw my black eye and my cut cheek. Thank god for makeup, hopefully no one will notice. I headed out the door and drove to the airport. Vic had been texting the whole time I was gone but I didn't tell him that I was coming today. I did tell Jaime though.
As I borded the plane I met a couple fans and they seemed pretty chill that I was like on the same plane as them. After a few minutes of doing nothing I fell asleep for most of the ride. I woke up as we were desending and we landed safely on the ground. I arrived in Pittsburgh and it was about 5 in the morning. I walked outside and found the bus and Jaime opened the door to let me in. We both quietly walked in and Jaime told me that he's gonna tell Vic the bus is on fire. Wow only he would think of something like that. He slowly opened Vic's curtains while I hid behind the kitchen counter.
​​​​​​"VIC WAKE UP THE BUS IS ON FIRE!!"
I had never seen him jump up so fast, it was hilarious. As soon as he ran towards the front, I jumped and made a loud growling noise. He jumped back and was so freaked out but he noticed it was me and started freaking out with excitment.
​​​​​​"Oh my god Kellin you're back, yay!"
We both smiled as he ran up to me and almost tackle hugged me and then gave me a kiss. Jaime was standing to the side just laughing his ass off, and Mike and Tony walked in.
​​​​​​"What in the hell happened?"Tony asked.
Just as he said that, he saw me and basically answered his own question.
​​​​​"Well hey Quinn you're back already?"
"Well yeah duh I'm right in front of your face."
We all laughed a little, but everyone was so glad that I was back.
​​​​​​"Ok you guys it's been a long morning so I'm gonna go to sleep again."
The guys nodded their heads and walked back to their bunks. I followed Vic to his bunk and crawled in with him.
​​​​​​"So how did it go?"
​​​​​​"Well I might get full custity for Copeland."
"That's great."
He put his hand on my cheek and rubbed his thumb on the side of my eye. He looked closer and a little concerned, that's when I realized I still had a fucked up eye.
​​​​​​"Oh my god Kellin what happened?!"
Shit, I knew I couldn't lie to him. So I told him the whole story, the long story.
"Kellin, why didn't you tell me?"
​​​​​​"I'm so, so sorry I forgot to tell you."
"Kellin you know I know you better than that."
​​​​​​"Ok, ok, I didn't want you to worry."
He didn't really know what to say, so he just held me close and kissed me on the forehead. He looked so upset and I felt so bad. My eyes started to tear up and I almost lost control, and he saw.
"Oh no please don't cry, cause then I'll cry."
"I know but I just-"
​​​​​​"No, no don't finish that sentence I already forgave you."
I just curled up closer to his body and didn't say anything else, and I closed my eyes.

*Vic'sPOV*

Kellin looked so damn adorable sleeping I just couldn't help but stare at him. I started to rub the makeup off his eye and it looked so bad, it was a deep blue and purple shade. I also found a cut on his left cheek that was about an inch long but thankfully it wasn't deep. I saw him cover his stomach with his arm. I lifted the side of his shirt and found more awful looking bruises with other minor ones. I rubbed his upper abs and he put his hand on mine. I ran my hand behind his waist and pulled him closer for a long, slow kiss. I just hugged him and lightly rubbed his back. He curled up so close to my chest, and I kissed him on the forehead for one last time. I was just happy to have him back. As long as he was here with me I felt he was safe, which relieved me.
​​​​​​"Love you Kells."
He look up and smiled.
​​​​​​"I love you, too."
He closed his eyes again and went back to sleep. Sometimes when I look at him I wonder how I could've ever ended up with someone this amazing, I'm so lucky. I don't know if I could go back to being alone. He was just one thing I've been looking for, the one thing I can hold on to, for the rest of my life.

I felt movement it felt like someone was squirming... I opened my eyes and witnessed Kellin having a nightmare. He was mumbling something I couldn't quite understand.
I shook him just a bit and his eyes opened immediately.

"Hey, hey Kells it's okay just a nightmare Love." I softly spoke.
Kellin put his hand on his forehead while sighing. I rubbed his back.
"Are you okay?"
He looked over at me, then hugged me really tight. Eventually he did let go and sighed again.
"I'm sorry." He quietly whispered

"No, no don't apologize. It's ok now Kells, it was just a nightmare. I'm here" I softly spoke not wanting to accidentally trigger him or something of that sort.

We got up and got dressed.
