Hankering to touch the sky
She did not know it was the stars
That awaited her
That girl was a dunderhead
Thinking she learnt from mistakes
It was the books that she intently read
That transformed her
That girl was so gullible
Hearing herself called cute
It was the beauty of her soul within
That made her
That girl was such a loner
Hanging out with myriad associates
It was the inner she who knew her deeply
That never betrayed her
That girl was a braggart
Calling herself a fool , depreciating her
It was only geniuses who recognized their juvenility
And that separated her
