You know, I was a total mess
They laughed and mocked and jeered
Scanned my hat, my bag, my dress
Wrinkled their nose and sneered
A gale storm of self-hatred stirred
Deep inside my heart
Loneliness had my vision blurred
It all had torn me apart
I was such a fool trying to fit in
Full of insecurities and self-doubt
But you held me by my hand, dear friend
Told me I was meant to stand out
You taught me to love myself pal
Accept me for who I am
You surpassed those ravenous human elves
Huh, even though you're just a phantom...
