RECAP:

The four girls (Leah, Zoe, Camilla, and Kaylee) are at the orientation ceremony for the Disney College Program after having a somewhat-heart-to-heart about their backgrounds and such. A new guy named Chase decided to sit next to Leah *wink wink nudge nudge* and the girls are about to learn about the next year of their lives from the Dean of Students, Jill Masterson. So far, Kaylee is a total mystery and nobody really gets why she's so angst-y, but she seems like a nice person on the inside.... right?

Leah's POV

Oh. My. God.

I could feel the heat coming off of my body in waves as I sat next to Chase. I felt like my heart was going to explode if it decided to beat any faster.

Focus, Leah! I internally yelled at myself and began to try desperately to listen to the Dean as she spoke.

"This orientation will prepare you for the next year of your life in the Walt Disney World College Program, so I suggest you pay close attention!"

Ms. Masterson walked over to the screen in the middle of the stage, and at that moment a presentation started.

"I assume that you all have been acquainted with your roommates, and I hope that you will get along with them, because there will be no moving between rooms until the end of the year."

I let out a sigh at that lovely bit of information.

"You have all received a packet that you acquired from your dorm manager, and that packet has everything that you will need to succeed here, including maps, rules books, et cettera. Here at DCP, we expect nothing but the best. Some students come here as "a break" or "something easy to make the parents happy", but that is not the case. If you float through this year, that is what it could become, but there are much greater things here. Our education focuses on on-the-job experiences, as well as a comprehensive classroom based learning environment. There is also a paid-internship aspect, which includes each of our students working in one of the parks in a certain role that is assigned to them. Each student works a shift at their job for most of the day, and attends one or two classes in the evenings. This is assigned according to schedule.

Some of the internship assignments include Operations Cast Members, which include park greeters, janitorial services, and transportation directing;"

Bathroom pointer-too-er.

"Lodging, which includes guest services, concierge, or housekeeping at one of our Disney World Resort Hotels,"

Maid.

"Food and Beverage,"

Waiter.

"Retail and Sales, Recreation, and Entertainment. Students are also invited to audition to become a character or performer in one of the parks' many shows. To recieve that form, please talk to your dorm manager."

When is she going to tell us our assignments?! I was getting more anxious by the minute.

"I'm sure that you're all excited to find out your assignments and schedules. After this meeting, they will be posted on your door. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask any faculty member. We look forward to seeing you on the job and in the classroom tomorrow! Thank you all for being here, and for choosing the Disney World College Program!"

Ms.Masterson finished her speech with a smile, and everyone jumped up to rush back to their rooms.

Kaylee was already almost out the door of the auditorium when Zoe and Milla turned around to see if I was coming with them, but I was still sitting next to Chase. I turned around to look at him, and I was shocked by the intensity of his green eyes staring into mine.
