Asha's POV
The next morning
I woke up on my bed I had a huge head ache. I got up and walked to my door and opened it.
I walked out and I didn't see anyone around.
I heard the TV on. I walked to the living room.
I saw Steve sitting there watching TV.
"Cap?"
He turned around
"Hey asha"
He turned off the TV and stood up.
"How are you feeling?"
He asked me
"I'm good I have a head ache though"
"Hey you wanna get something to eat?"
"Sure let me get ready"
"Okay"
I got ready and we walked to a diner about 3 blocks away.
We sat at a table and ordered.
The cap looked sad for some reason.
"You okay cap?"
He didn't answer
"Steve"
He looked up at me
"I like it better when you call me steve not by cap"
"You okay steve?"
"Yeah"
"Your lying"
"I'm not"
"Steve...your a terrible liar"
"I guess everyone knows that"
"Yeah"
"Come on steve tell me what's wrong"
"You almost got hurt again"
"Yeah..but I didn't"
"You almost got hurt saving me and buck"
I put my hand on his
"Yeah..but it was worth it"
Steve smiled
"You know I totally had them on the ropes" steve said
"Ha! Sure you did"
"You know if I do get hurt on a mission...I don't regret it...its worth it...and you and bucky are worth saving for"
"You mean that?"
"Every word"
After we ate our breakfast we started walking somewhere.
We were in a neighborhood.
Steve stopped walking
"Steve where are we going?"
"Asha I've been thinking and I know your gonna be super mad at me..but I just want you to be happy...I hope your not mad at me after this"
"Steve what are you talking about?"
"I found your parents.."
"What?"
"I did a little searching and stuff and I finally found them"
"Steve...I..."
"I know but I'm sure they miss you...asha your their only child and for a girl to run away from home at a young age and disappear for 2 years would drive a parent crazy...they tryed looking for you but when nobody knew or heard about you they gave up after a year"
"Where's their house?"
"Two houses down"
Steve grabbed my hand and we walked in front of the house.
"Steve I can't"
"Yes you can"
"I can't steve I just..."
"You just what?....what are you afraid of?"
"I'm afraid of explaining to them why I ran away"
"You don't need to explain.. Their gonna be so happy to see you that their not gonna care"
Steve took my hand and we walked to the front door. Steve rang the door bell. We waited a few moments. Then someone opened the door.
My heart stopped....
