Are You Sure?

Asha's POV

Next Morning

I woke up
The sun was out
And I was hungry

I got up and walked out my room.
I walked to the kitchen

I looked in the fridge
I was about to pull the eggs out when sam calls out my name

"Asha"
"Yeah?"
"The cap needs you in the mission room"
"Right now?"
"Yes"
"Uuuggghhh! Fine"

I walked to the elevator to the mission room.
I saw the cap standing looking at some photos on the big screen.

"You cap owe me breakfast"

He turned around

"Sorry"
"Its okay...what's up?"
"Its been a couple of weeks and we have a mission I don't want you to feel left out"
"Okay?"
"Do you want to stay here and you can see the whole thing from here?"
"Are you joking?"

"What?"
"Your really gonna treat me like I'm this fragile thing now?"
"No! That's not what I ment"
"Then what did you mean?"
"I just don't want you to get hurt?"
"Since when did you care?"
"Since you've joined the team"
"The team?"
"Yeah"
"Cap stop being a weenie and just yuck it up and say it"
"Say what?"
"That you like me"

Steve looks away
I walked up to him
He looked down at the floor
I picked up his head with my hand

"Sam told me"
"Figure"
"Hey you have nothing to worry about I'm not gonna kill you"
"Why would you.. I'm captain America"
"Okay yeah don't flater yourself"

We both laughed

"But what's the deal with you and buck?"
"Ah its nothing"
"That's a bag of bull...you guys are best friends fix whatever is going on"

Steve's POV

I learn something from asha
She lost her best friends and she hasn't spoken to her parents in 2 years.

I can tell she misses them.

So we have a mission
I don't want asha to feel left out so I thought it would be better if she stayed here and just watched.

I was looking at the images on the screen.
When she walked in
She was still in her PJs and messy hair.

We talked then the subject turned into her knowing that I like her.

And that me and bucky are fighting
She wants us to work it out.

But I'm pretty sure bucky won't talk to me.

"Look asha I don't think buck is going to talk to me"
"Yes he will"
"How do you know"
"Cause I just do"
"We'll see"

"So you gonna let me on the mission?"
"You can stay here"
"Ah no I'm going on that mission"
"I don't want you getting hurt"
"I won't I promise"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes steve"
"(Sighs) Alright fine"
"Yay! Love you!"
Asha skipped out the mission room.

She was so cute. I liked that she called me by my name and not cap...I mean that is my name too. But I liked that she called me by my actually name.

Bucky's POV

The whole day I stayed in my room
I wanted time to think about the whole fighting with steve.
And if I should tell asha...

What if she likes steve more then me.

I laid in bed....
Then I heard a knock on my room.
I got up and opened the door.

It was asha
I let her in and she sat on my bed

"Where have you been?"
She asked me

"Here"
"And why haven't you come out of your room?"
"I don't know...I like it in here"
"Yeah sure"
"I'm serious"
"Yeah alright...hey can we talk about something?"
"If its about the shower..."
"No its not that"
"Okay?"
"Its about steve"
"Oh steve"
"And you"
"....me?"
"Yeah you and steve what's going on?"
"Its nothing"
"Tell me bucky"

I looked around the room then back at asha

"We got in a fight"
"Okay"
"About you"
"I know"
"You do?"
"Yeah sam told me"
"Oh that sam"
"Hey he was just helping out"
"Yeah"

"Look buck you and steve are best friends and if you guys are gonna fight over a girl...that's pretty lame... Bros before...well you know...I love you both...as my best friends too"

"But we both love you"
"You love me?"
"Yes I do...I never got the chance to say it"

I couldn't believe I said that to her
It felt so good to get that off my chest

"Look buck you need to fix this with steve"
"I will"

I kissed asha before she left

Asha was right
I need to fix this
