Today was a good day.

(Kodie POV)

She is so damn beautiful. I reach out and gently and rubs my hand against Megan cheek. Her eyes slowly start to open as she looks at me smiling I smile a little and say "Goodmorning boo."and kiss her forehead lightly. She sits up and looks around my room lightly smiling. "So this is your room huh? It's nice." I see her nose scrunch up in disapproval as she points to painting of a naked women in the corner "did you paint that?" I turn my head a little and answer back "nah my bro did. You jealous?"
"Aye can y'all shut up." I hear one of the girls mumble from the couch still half sleep.

"You in MY room hoe I could've let you sleep on the lawn fawk you mean." I say back. I didn't hear a response so I assumed she just drifted back to sleep.

"You hungry I'll cook some breakfast." Megan says grabbing my hand basically dragging me out the door. She hate confrontation she's a softy I be trying to break her out of that, sometimes you just gotta knuckle up with a hoe. I still follow her downstairs into the kitchen. We both jump when we see my mom and pops in the kitchen. My mom was sitting on the counter with her legs spread and pops head was down between them. I cover Megan's mouth because she's a lil slow sometimes. "Don't say shit lets just go back upstairs." I say in her ear Megan nods and we slowly make our way up the stairs. As I reach Khalils door I knock. Then I hear his heavy ass footsteps coming to the door as he swings it open. "What little nigga?" He says standing in some gray sweats and a old jersey.

"Don't go downstairs mom and pops are having uh a snack before breakfast you feel me?" I say and Khalil rubs his face yawning.

"Ight" he mumbles and shuts his door.

Megan leans closer to me and looks down "we can just get some breakfast later." She says playing with her hands. I hate seeing her get shy with me but we only been talkin for a couple weeks so I guess she's just not fully comfortable with me yet.

I lift her chin lightly and look down at her smiling "we can sneak out my parents won't notice once they get sexual they all over each other all day."

We walk upstairs and see Carmella and two other girls from the party sitting around my room on their phones. I don't say anything I just grab my keys and open my bedroom window. By now I've gotten their attention.

"Where y'all goin?" One of the girls asked. I think her name was Selena...

"Breakfast y'all comin?" I say slipping through the window grabbing the ladder I keep by my window stepping down to the ground slowly then I hold the ladder steady for the rest of the girls.

We all hop in my car making our way down the road. After about 30 minutes we make our way to IHOP personally I'm a little annoyed I just wanted to spend time with my baby tbh.
Me and Megan walk in with our hands intertwined together with the other girls walking behind us.

The waiter asks "booth or table?" While looking at us weirdly.
"Table." I say while starting at her the same way. She shakes her head and shows us our table placing the menus on the table then she leaves without even asking if we want drinks or nothing rude bitch.

I shrug it off and pull out the chair for Megan then I sit down beside her.
"Y'all are so adorable." Selena says while resting her chin on her hand sighing. "I wish I could be all booed up." She continues pouting.

I rest my hand on Megan's thigh and kiss the side of her cheek. Megan smiles sweetly at Selena and says "thank you." Our waiter walks over to our table and looks away from our table as she ask's what we want to drink. I order lemonade and so does Megan while Selena,Brittney and Carmella order water. I try to ignore the attitude in her voice shaking my leg under the table to keep from saying something. Megan tries to calm me down by rubbing my hand under the table. we order our food and I daze off thinking about beating the waitress ass while Megan and the other girls talk about the party from last night.
