I stand there looking at Barry. He walks up to me and pulls me close. He cups my face and wiped the tears that fall down my face. I look to the side and see shadow. He stares right at me with a face of anger.
" I have to do this Barry, it's the only way I can save everyone from him and especially me. We're both monsters who don't deserve to live"
"No you do. You have done nothing but help this city" Barry said as he looked down at you
"Then why am I the villian in the story" I told him as I turned around and I began to walk towards shadow
His smile began to grow as if he was a joker. I looked around and he began to get closer
"Please don't do this, I love you" Barry yelled at me. I looked down as I felt tears fall down my face
"Love is a strong word, I'm sorry Barry" I said as I gave the Dagger to the shadow. He smiled at me as he pulled me close. I looked at him with disgust as he began to caress my cheek
"Your so pretty, such a shame I have to finish you" he told me. I looked in his eyes and saw the darkness but also saw the lust he still held for me. All of a sudden I felt something tighten around my wrist.
"Chains" I thought
"Do. Your. Worse" I spat
He smiled again
"Gladly"

I woke up with a startle. I sat up and look around for my phone
4:00 Am
I groaned and fell back on the pillows. I decide to might as well to get ready for work. I sit up and dangle my feet off the side of the bed. I slip my feet into my fuzzy blue slippers and stood up and walked to the kitchen to make myself some coffee. While that's being brewed I go to living room to watch some Tv
"The Particle accelerator is going on tonight but many wonder if it's safe. Here's an interview with-"
I turn off the TV not wanting to know anything about the accelerator.
I get up and head to my room to get ready

As I am about to leave my phone dings. It's from my co-worker, Linda Park.
Linda: where are you. We need you for the police report
I looked to see it was sent 12 minuets ago. I lock my house and began to run downstairs. Once I hit the elevator I check though my messages and see one from Barry
Barry: Just got back. See you later at jitters
I smile as I put my phone away. Once I reach the bottom floor I run out to the crossing walk.
When I first moved out of my mom's house I had just gotten a job at Central City Picture News so I moved into an apartment right across the street from it but at this point it was not working.
"How are you always late, you live across the street" Linda asked me as I walked in
"Because I'm a lazy ass, who doesn't want to get out of her comfortable bed" I snark back
"Wow even I'm not that lazy" Linda said in disbelief
"Now I should go to Larkin before I get fired" I said as I set my stuff down at my desk. She nodded and walked away.
I walk down the hall and find the door is want to go though. I knock when I hear a scruffy voice telling me to come in
"Hey larkin" I said slowly as I closed the door
"Don't hey larkin me you were late again"
He said as he took a sip of his coffee
"I know it's just I couldn't sleep last night"
"Well if you have sleep problems please go see a doctor. Also there's a new case that just opened up, a shooting at a bank, and since you have connections to ccpd you can get more information" he said as I wrote everything in my journal
"Is that it" I questioned
"No you can leave now. Also I want that story as soon as possible" he said as he bit into his bagel
"OK I will, bye larkin" I said as I opened the door
"Don't call me larkin" he said as I closed the door
"Not going to happen" I whispered to myself

I walk into ccpd and see Captain Singh talking with Joe. Joe was wearing his regular shirt and jeans. I was about to go up to the lab but was stopped by Joe
"Emma hey" he said as I walked over to him and singh.
"Hey joe" I began to say as I give him a side hug "Hey Captain Singh"
"Hi Emma, are you here for the police report on the shooting" he asked me
"Yeah I am. I have work too ya know" I say back.
He looks down "ok well Barry should be almost done with it"
"OK ill head up there" I said as I turned around. I said bye to Joe and went upstairs to the lab. I walk in and see Barry and Iris talking to each other. Iris smiles at something that Barry said and turns to where I am.
"Oh hey Emma" Iris said as she stood up from the chair she was sitting in
"Hey guys" I said setting my stuff down. I walk over to the table they're sitting at.
"Hi Em's, are you coming with us to see the particle accelerator turn on" Barry asks me as he eats some of his fries
I sigh and look at him directly in the face "I would if I didn't have to be at work at 7 am tomorrow" Then I remembered you also him " Hey do you have the police report from the shooting at the bank"
"Oh yeah here. And I was really hoping you could come so we could talk" He says as he hands me a piece of paper. I go and put it in my Book bag.
Iris pipes up and says "Well the thing doesn't start till 6 and it's only 2 so there's time for you guys to talk"
I look at her and say "Well I was going home after this so we can always talk there"
Barry looks at me "Yeah I'm fine with that"
Iris looks down at her phone "Oh hey I have to go to jitters I'll see you later Barry" she says
Me and Barry both say bye at the same time when I steal his fries
He looks at me shocked "Emma Lance did you just steal my fries"
I smirk back back at him "Yes I did" Then add on "Barry Allen"
He runs up to me and begins to tickle me. I began to laugh and giggle when he stops.
I look up to see why when I see he's face close to mine. I feel his hot breath on my lips when I look at my watch "um it's getting late we should go"
Barry scratches the back of his neck "Yeah we should"
He goes and grabs his coat and began to walk out "Hey are you coming"
"Yeah ill be out in a minute. Wait for me down stairs" he nods as I look out of the window and think what just happened between us
