In just the course of 4 hours Iris loses both of her best friends to comas. They luckily found Barry very quickly since he was at work at the time of his accident and people heard the noises of him crashing into a shelf but unfortunately Emma wasn't as lucky. According to the paramedics who found her unconscious on the roof of her apartment 4 hours after she was apparently struck by lightning, which Iris did not believe at all, said she suffered a serious head injury and was practically dead when they arrived on the scene. Fortunately they were able to revive her but as a result she has to be in the icu and on almost 7 tubes stuck in her and any place possible. Yet to Iris that wasn't the worse thing to happen during the 9 months she was visiting her two best friends. For one she started seeing her dad's co-worker more often then she would like to admit and two the doctor announced there was probably nothing they could do for Emma except wait, she wasn't showing any signs of waking up and she wasn't showing signs of her getting worse so the news was neutral, but to Iris seeing the reaction on Laurels face was the worst of it. Most of the time it was just her trying to visit, her mom came once in a while and her dad rarely came. Then more news came; Barry would be moved to Star Labs for further care, which Iris didn't mind but what bothered he the most is that they wouldn't take Emma with them. The doctors would say "she's a lost cause" or "there's nothing we can do"
Eventually Barry woke up and the first thing that he heard he missed what the he fact that his best friend was still in a coma, with no improvement. He also figured out that the lightning strike gave him powers he could never dream of. Everyday after work and his flash business he would always go and visit Emma and wish he could've done more. He once was so upset about the fact he couldn't do anything but wait upset him so much that he literally yelled at Caitlin, Cisco, and Dr. Wells for not trying to help her too.
One day that all changed, it was 6 months after Barry woke up from the coma they thought there was some improvement, Barry finally convinced Dr. Wells to take her to Star Labs. Her heart monitor started to beep rapidly as if she was to wake up but no that wasn't the case.
He woke up. She died.

so that was my fanfic that I never thought to finish, yeah it was horrible but I did. Sorry i killed her off but that had to happen so the story didn't end at a cliffhanger. I might start writing again but i'm not sure yet but I hope you enjoyed this horrible fanfiction
